Chapter 18

We are now on the third set and so far, we are doing so good. Hindi na kami nagpapabaya at mas ginagalingan pa namin para hindi ulit kami matulad sa first set. The score is now 6-2, lamang kami and this time, ako na ulit ang magse-serve.

I was shocked by the amount of cheers I've got from the audience. I can't help but to smile and the whole crowd goes 'wow'. Nagtaka naman ako kung bakit pero hindi ko iyon pinahalata. Yun naman pala ay clinose up ang mukha ko at kitang-kita ito sa malaking screen sa itaas. It's the same from what they did to Julian in the semifinals match against Stuartz.

Pumito na ang referee kaya naman nagready na ako para magserve. I used my left hand again for my jump serve and just like that, I've scored another 2 consecutive aces that leads to a technical timeout.

"Stuartz main problem now is how to stop Jillian Krae from her amazing service aces. I think Venusville found out that Stuartz are good in blocking but they just ranked at 7th placed in terms of receiving this season." commentator said.

"Yes partner and the real question is, how can they stop Jillian Krae? As we can see, ever since  Jillian did that serve, she continouosly making service aces." the other commentator said.

"What's good in Jillian Krae's services are her abilities to control and direct it to where she want. She's incredible, I know this lady have a bright future in her volleyball career."

"Para kay Julian!" sigaw ni Milly. Dinig na dinig kong siya iyon dahil malapit lang ako sa pwesto nila ngayon.

I smiled at that thought while dribbling the ball in my hands and getting ready to serve. Now I'm so much inspired once again.

"and another service ace again from Jillian Krae!"

Naghiyawan naman ang aming mga supporters at fans dahil lumalayo na naman ang score namin sa Stuartz. Dahil doon ay nagtawag ang coach ng Stuartz ng timeout.

This game is our second to the last game this year since we are heading for a two weeks holiday break. The last school we are going to face is Wilhelm University.

After the timeout, I served again and this time, mine serves out so a point were taken by Stuartz. It's a 9-3 now, in favor of us.

Nagready naman na ang mga kasama ko para sa service ng kabila. Mabuti nalang at kay Maicy naidirekta ang service na iyon kaya maayos nitong naipasa ang bola sa akin.

I jump and acted like I was going to set it in the middle but Captain is in the back and at the last second, I setted it to her.

Dahil sa pag-aakala ng mga blockers ng Stuartz na sa middle ko ibibigay kaya naman pababa na sila nang tirahin iyon ni captain kaya hindi nila ito nablock. Another point from us.

"Captain, Please trust me on this set and on the 4th set. Alam ko minsan lang kita binibigyan ngayon, but believe me, plano ko lang iyon. Get ready sa next set. Kailangan kita." I said to captain Mel. We are now on the second technical timeout and so far, malaki pa rin ang lamang namin sa Stuartz.

Nasa harapan pa din ako and these players of Stuartz kinda trasktalk to me but I just ignored them. I know they are doing it to distract me but It won't work on me.

I glance at them and made a genuine smile to show that I appreciate what they're doing but it won't affect on me.

Halatang natigilan ang mga ito at parang nainis pa sa pagngiti ko sa kanila. Hindi ko alam na dahil pala sa pagngiti ko sa kanila ay may balak pala silang gawin sa akin kalaunan.
