𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘱𝘵𝘦𝘳 10

' BANG '. You shot up. Thunder was crackling loudly and raindrops were battering the windows vigorously. Lightning flashed every few seconds accompanied by threatening explosive sounds.

Memories from 13 years ago were flooding back into your head.

The thunderstorm that gloomy night was almost a replica of the present. Your quirk had arrived while you were asleep. The thunderous boom echoed through the small room. It tingled every single nerve in your body.

Heart palpitating fast. Fingers were trembling. Another thunderous explosion blasted through your ears. " CRASH. " your quirk had came.

The thunder had caused your body to tremble so much , creating large amounts of pulsation through your body. A wave of force had overcomed you as you flew across the room. " BOOM. "

Another pulsation. You flew across the room again, banging your head onto dresser. As the thunder continued to crackle with the pouring rain, your quirk was out of control.

Every single time a thunder striked , you were thrown to a corner of your room. You just wanted the pain to stop.

The thunder had stopped momentarily. Laying on the floor,  you panted heavily , out of breath. Your eyesight was hazy , with blood dripping down your head and bruises all over your small figure.

Slowly but surely,  your vision grew hazy and everything was getting even darker than the thundering night sky.

" CRACKLE " Another thunder clapped you back into reality. You wanted to go back to sleep. You just wanted the scarring memory to disappear.

Pulling the sheets over your head , you tossed and turned , trembling everytime the sky played its crackling explosions.

Help.

Tears were streaming down your face like a faucet. You were frozen in fear.

The door creaked quietly over the pitter patter of the shooting rain bullets from the sky.

" Y/n? "

A warm hand touched your head.

You peeked through the gaps of the thick cover, the haughty boy was right in front your eyes.

" monoma... "

" BOOM! "

Tears were streaming more and more. Shooting out of the blanket , you burrowed your face into his chest, clutching him tightly.

" y/n... i didn't know you missed me so much haha.. "
Monoma chuckled softly, trying his best to lighten the mood.

He wrapped his arms around you , embracing you warmly. His fingers caressed your hair enderly , with your legs crossed over his torso. You were shaking so hard.

You sobbed harder and harder. Monoma's shirt was getting damper and damper as you continued wailing in fear.

" Ssh... It's okay y/n. I'm here. "

He softly comforts as he gently kissed you on the forehead.

As he slowly traced his fingers on your back trying to calm you down , guilt overwhelmed him.

Seeing you so vulnerable at the moment, how long did this go on for? If he did not leave the villa he could have been there for you.

By your side.

The sky kept thundering non-stop. It seemed to be no end.  Each time the sky roared , you clung onto him tighter.

Luckily, your tears seemed to have slowly stopped, thanks to Monoma.

Laying on his chest, you kept sniffling, hugging him tighter and tighter.

The both of you embraced each other silently in the room, with only sounds of the pouring rain and thundering night sky resonating throughout the room.

Slowly, the boy removed of his arms and picked your legs away from his torso as he made you lay in your bed. He slid off the bed, knowing you were all fine now, because you stopped crying. As he began to take his leave, you grabbed his wrist.

" Monoma... Don't leave me alone. Please. " you begged.

His eyes widened. How scared were you? Why are you so scared? Whatever the reason was, he knew he could not leave you for the rest of the night. Without a second thought , he quietly replied,

" I'm not leaving y/n. Im just going to take a quick shower and change my clothes. Don't worry. Im going to stay with you. "

You nodded your head slowly, as you unwillingly let go of him.

Monoma entered the toilet , leaving a slight gap of light to peek through the room , letting you know he was still there.

In a swift 10 minutes , he was out and hurriedly came over to your side.

He wrapped his arms around you as you laid your head against his chest, playing with his slender fingers , trying to distract yourself from the loud  rumbles of the sky.

Within his warm embrace , you felt your eyelids get heavy as you drifted off into a peaceful slumber.

Monoma watched you sleep peacefully as he caressed your cheek tenderly.

" Goodnight y/n. Im sorry for today. "
