"It'll be fine. It'll be fine with the Phantom. She'll get out of here quick." JJ attempted to reassure the girls after his moment of 'weakness'. "Whoa, whoa, whoa." JJ said as a swarm of cop cars drove past them.
"They're still looking. It's a good sign." Kie pointed out anxiously as she drove them to the storage unit for the Phantom.
"Yeah or now they're just looking for us." River pointed out pessimistically.
"Way to think optimistically Ri." JJ muttered sarcastically, looking back at her.
"Always." River responded sarcastically.

JJ opened up the storage unit for the Phantom with a grin. "There she is. Hey girl." JJ pulled down the cloth that was over the front of the boat. "A 1983 formula 402 SR1. The Phantom."
"Wow, JJ, I wish you'd talk to me like that." River said sarcastically as she stared at the boat.
"The first boat ride make the run to Bermuda in under 16 hours, baby girl. Forty years old! Forty!" He said shocked. "And still the fastest thing that Kildare's ever seen."
"It's kind of a junker." Kie muttered as she looked at the boat in disgust.
"That's cause you see all the rich folks boats." River summed up, with a small shrug.
"Really? She's right there Kie. She can hear you." JJ scoffed. "Let's just put it this way. You would not be smoking weed right now if she never existed okay?"
"I just hope it runs." Kie muttered with a shrug.
"Oh, no, she'll run alright. She's faster than any cutters the boys in blue got." JJ announced confidently.
"Pope finally!" Kie said as the three heard tires screeching. Kie went over to see him, River decided to stay with JJ and give the pair some space to talk.
"Hey there. What's going on? JJ? How you guys doing?" Rafe questioned as he hopped onto the boat. JJ tensed slightly and stepped in front of River.
"Whoo-hoo!" Barry whistled.
"Oh shit. We're in trouble." River muttered to herself as she looked up to her cousin. She wondered if he even knew.
"Well, well." Barry held his gun up to JJ. "See, don't think I forgot about me and you on the side of the road. I'm here cause I want my mother fucking money." Barry said as he punched JJ in the stomach, making him topple over.
"JJ!" River shouted only for her and Kie to be held back by Rafe. "JJ!"
"That's what I'm here for!" Barry shouted and kicked JJ in the stomach.
Rafe had managed to push Kie down, making her hit her head on the side of the boat. She was currently knocked unconscious.
"It's not you we want, River. Where's John B?" Rafe questioned River angrily.
"Hey cousin, nice to see you again too." River snapped. "Remember what grandpa said If you hurt me or my fr-"
"I don't give a shit what that old man said. He means nothing to me. Rafe shrugged cockily.
"Really that's why you were trying to talk to him at midsummers?" River raised her brow with a smug smirk.
"He abandoned my father!" Rafe shouted angrily.
"Your father fucking left."
"Bit like your dead beat mother right?" Rafe smirked cockily. River didn't waste any time in smacking him. "Fuck you." He spat. "Where's John B?"
"I don't know!" River shouted, smacking him again.
"Stay down boy." Barry said to JJ. River's eyes flickered to him, he was clutching his stomach. She wanted to rush over and help him, but she knew she couldn't get past Rafe.
"Twice! I really wish you didn't do that." Rafe seethed.
"I know what you did Rafe." River announced, she wasn't scared of this jackass. Despite him being much taller and stronger than she was.
"What? What did I do?" Rafe questioned.
"You murdered Peterkin." There was a moments silence before Rafe's hand wrapped around River's throat.
"Don't you ever say those fucking words again. Understand?" Rafe gritted through his teeth. JJ stood up and was ready to kill if it meant River was safe.
"Rafe! Your-you scared of the truth cousin?" River managed to breathe out.
"Where's John B?" Rafe repeated as Barry beat JJ to the ground again.
"I don't know!" River screamed as Kie came too and Pope ran in with an iron rod and swung it against the back of Rafe's legs. Making him involuntary let go of River.
"Don't touch her!" Pope shouted. He glanced down to Kie, who River ran up too. He knew that Rafe had done that too. "Don't touch them!" He swung the rod again.
Pope was fighting Rafe, and winning, which Barry clearly saw. "Hey!" He shouted cocking his gun. JJ grabbed his ankle and made him fall to the floor.
"Ri, kick it!" JJ shouted motioning to the gun. River didn't hesitate in kicking the gun to the other side of the room. JJ stood up and instantly began to hit Barry back.
"That's enough!" River shouted as she watched the boys beat Rafe and Barry.
"Pope! Okay Pope!" Kie shouted as she tried to pull him off Rafe.
"Hey! Pope!" JJ shouted as he left Barry alone.
"That's good Pope! He's had enough!" River shouted, her voice wavering slightly.
"Snap out of it man." JJ said as Pope wrapped a chain around Rafe's neck. "Snap out of it!"
"Pope!" River screamed. "JJ! Stop him." River panicked. He was her cousin, and maybe he was a shitty person but he was still family.
"Dude, come on! Stop! Stop! Dude!" JJ said wrapping his arms around Pope.
"Look at me!" Kie shouted making Pope look at her and snap out of whatever daze he was in.
"Shit." JJ muttered looking over to River.
"Okay, we gotta go. We gotta go." Kie muttered.
"Stay off the cut." Pope said as he hovered over Rafe's body.
