Patton's p.o.v.

"Are you sure I look ok?" I asked as I adjusted the suit.

Virgil looked up from his phone and smirked. "Ya look amazing, pops."

"Stunning, as always, Patton!" Roman announced.

I looked in the mirror at the beautiful white suit I tried on. I had a pastel blue tie, and some pretty expensive looking shoes on as well. Even though all of this was way out of the budget for my outfit, Roman thought it'd be a fun thing to do to get my mind off the wedding, which is now only a week away.

My mom's coming in a few days from now to help out, and so is her husband, John. Virgil has to be on Dan's side of the altar, so I chose Roman to be my best man. When I asked him he literally squealed and cried for like ten minutes because he was so happy. I haven't had the chance to ask Logan to come yet. I really want him to be there, because he's one of my closest friends, but I don't think he'll want to go.

The man who was helping us looked exhausted. To be fair, we had been here for an hour or two and I think I've already tried on at least twenty different outfits. I went back to the fitting room to change into my normal clothes and handed the outfit back to him. He looked at me.

"Is this the outfit you'd like to purchase?" He asked.

Roman shook his head and put his arm around me. "Quite frankly these suits don't quite match my friend's impeccable standards. Therefore we are leaving and placing a one star review online."

"No, nothing but that!" The man begged.

"But it has already been done!" Roman said, making a weird gesture with his hands. The man dropped down on his knees and waved his fists at the sky.

"NOOOOOOOOO!"

Roman grabbed Virgil and I and pushed us towards the exit. He opened the door for us as we all walked out. Virgil looked at me, clearly just as confused as I was about what in cats name just happened back there.

"Why're we leaving so fast, princey?" Virgil asked as Roman.

Roman put his sunglasses on. "Act natural, I just shoplifted."

"Roman!" I exclaimed. Virgil just cackled and high-fived Roman.

"Nice. What'd ya get?"

Roman just put his arms around me and Virgil. "All will be revealed in time. Now walk faster I don't know how long we have till they notice."

We quickly turned the corner and walked back to Roman's house.

We walked up the driveway and I noticed an all to familiar car parked in the driveway. As my eyes wondered to the door, I locked eyes with Logan. He seemed better than when we last..talked. Speaking of which, it's been two weeks since we last talked. I've been forcing Virgil to get the groceries alone now.

Though he went alone before so I don't really get why he's complaining now.

Roman guided me up to the front porch and stopped me right in front of Logan. He then grabbed Virgil and opened the door, pushing him inside.

"wELL isn't this a nice surprise! Welp it seems that my oven spontaneously caught on fire. You two talk while me and Virgil sort it all out."

"A fire? Should I call the authorities--"

"No need, Microsoft nerd."

Logan just stared at Roman. "I don't find that remotely humorous."
