KIM TAEHYUNG

Jungkook was annoyed, I knew, but I couldn't when I saw how happy Jin was that we were finally going to announce it. And I appreciated that he wanted to help us... his way. "I'm sorry, Kook," I said softly.

He relaxed and shook his head softly. "No need to apologize, we know how Jin can get sometimes."

His hand moved through his dark hair, ruffling it and I felt the sudden need to praise myself for the immaculate tase in men that I have. Because, yes.

"It's going to be okay," I reassured, placing my hand in his shoulder. We didn't get up from the floor when Jin left, didn't feel like we had to. "No need to worry about this, things will work out either way."

They have to. I'm trying to play it cool for Jungkook's sake right now, but internally I felt the nervousness claw at me. Even though I know there's no need for doubts that any of our members will reject this, I'm still scared of their reactions.

"Come here," Jungkook suddenly ordered, his voice gentle. I noticed the eyes gestured to his body and I felt my cheeks reddening as I moved to sit on his lap, straddling him.

I couldn't help to swoon at the proud smile on his lips, a part of me refusing to believe that everything of this was true.

"Look, this means a lot to us and I want it to be perfect."

My brain almost stopped functioning when his hands moved up and down my waist.

My hands moved to his shoulders, I looked him in the eyes. "No matter how we deliver it, it'll be fine. In the end we can be together openly at home."

Jungkook hummed and pulled me closer to him. "You're probably right."

I smiled and placed a soft kiss on his cheek, then reached out for the college block on the floor.
"Let's memorize the speech for Jin then."

Jungkook's smile vanished and something like a whine escaped his lips. "Right now?"

Big ass baby.

"Yeah, the sooner the better."

He grabbed the college block from my hands, scanning the text. "I'm only doing this for you. Let's see."

A soft giggle vibrated through me, watching Jungkook's expression change from cringed out, to stunned, to terrified and to cringed out again. "Do we really need to mention the lightnings?"

It's ridiculous, it's true. But I don't want to crush Seokjin's heart. "Yep."

His eyebrows fell in defeat. "Okay... on that spring day blablabla, heartbeat fast blablabla, we got stabbed by a lightning blablabla... Okay I'm done, can we cuddle now?" he asked, looking at me with hopeful eyes and an adorable, expecting smile.

I rolled my eyes.

"Seriously, we agreed to do this for Jin, so we have to."

"You agreed," he grumbled, to which I could only give him an apologetic smile again, because it was true.

"We'll make it work. Until then," I got up from his lap, "No cuddles."

He looked at me with a widened mouth in shock.  "That's blackmailing!" he whined and I heard a thud, only to see him now lying on his back, arms helplessly extended to the side.

"Come one, don't be a baby about it."

I grabbed the speech myself and read through it, trying to already memorize a few lines, keeping myself from laughing at how ridiculous Jin can get. He wrote a whole song about tuna, don't expect his speeches to be less unserious. Some passages weren't even that bed.
