TAEHYUNG
Jungkook and I agreed that it was best to keep us a secret. For two reasons:
1. To not cause any uproar, since all of this is pretty new to both of us and will be even newer and therefore more shocking to our members.
2. Because it is also a lot of fun to hide. After spending the whole day in my room, just talking about this and that, we soon came closer to four pm, which was when our practice would begin.
Halfheartedly, he had to leave me alone in my room. That is why I spent the past ten minutes just sitting on my bed and rethinking everything that happened these past twenty-four hours.
Probably the most exciting twenty-four hours of my entire life.
It is crazy enough to think that I finally was able to confess my year-long feelings to him and it is even crazier that he reincorporates them. There is still a long way for us to go now, we are definitely one step ahead of a friendship, but... could it work out?
There is a lot to think and consider about the steps we take. For instants, now that we established that we both like each other and we are about to get to know each other on an whole other level, to that, physically, I'm afraid people will notice. And with people, I don't mean our members and families, because there is no space for denial that those two parties are always going to support us.
But we are idols, public faces and our names aren't small either. If someone outside of our personal circles, like a fan, paparazzi or workers in our company get a hunch of... us, it could be over, the end of the beginning.
Maybe it's also just too much overthinking. I should focus on the positive side of all of that.
Jungkook.
Where do I even begin to talk about how he makes me feel?
I checked the clock again and notice how there were ten minutes left for practice. I had my clothes already put on, grabbed my phone and left my room. When I closed my door, it wasn't the only click-sound I heard and I turned around in the floor, to see Jungkook in front of of his dorm room as well.
A smile marked his lips as he noticed me and I couldn't help feeling the butterflies erupt within me.
"We're still fighting, remember?" I reminded him as he began walking towards me.
He chuckled, coming closer and closer. "There's no one here though."
I giggled, smiling at him when he was right in front of me. "Someone could come though. We should pretend to be fighting. It's best you go-
The sound of a door opening interrupted me and I quickly pushed Jungkook away, who caught on quickly. "It's all your fault anyways!" He suddenly said and left. I played along. "You're so inconsiderate!" I shouted after him and when I turned around, Jin stood in front of his now closed door, his hand still resting on the door handle as he looked at me and at Jungkook's back with a worried crease in his brows.
"It seems like your talk didn't go well," he stated.
No one told me how hard it is to keep a plain facial expression when you're in love and want to be smiling all the time. "It made everything worse," I lied. It felt weird to say that out loud, when in reality, finally, everything seemed to be fine.
