"Good Morning Ma'am. How was your flight from Las Vegas?"
Maaga akong binati ng aking secretary nang sandaling makatapak ako sa isa sa mga hotel namin. I just arrived from my flight in Las Vegas and yeah, dumiretso na agad ako dito sa hotel without even bothering to relax first!

I graduated BS in Hotel and Restaurant Management to set up my own restaurant and manage it of course. I really don't have any interest managing one of our hotels because it's so stressful kaya!
Meetings here, meetings there. Conference here and whatsoever!
Pero ayun! I suddenly woke up one day and then here I am, managing our hotel branch in Manila.
Why do I have many reklamo ba kasi?
Luckily, I am just a manager not a CEO! For sure, Kuya is more stressful than I in terms of managing the whole Rivera Hotel Corporation.
"It was good Marie. I enjoyed Las Vegas." Nakangiting sagot ko.
She looked tense and mukhang hindi alam kung paano ako i-aapproach. It happens everytime. My employees look at me like a terrifying lady who will fire them within a single mistake.
But duh! I'm not like that noh.
Second chances are big words from my vocabulary.
"Mukhang hindi po kayo na-stress ah." Sambit niya.
"Of course, duh! I actually escaped one session in the conference because the speaker was so boring. Nakakaantok and I don't want to fell asleep naman because that's rude and nakakahiya."
"Ahh opo." Tumatangong sabi niya.
"I have pasalubongs for you." Nakangiting sabi ko kaya mas lalo pang umaliwalas ang mukha niya.
Marie was my secretary here in the hotel and also my secretary in my restaurants. Sobrang nakakapagod ang ginagawa niya because she have so many errands.
"So how was my restaurants while I was gone? Did Andrew handle it well?" I asked.
"Yes Ma'am. Ingat na ingat po si Sir Andrew gaya ng pinangako niya sa inyo."
"Good."
Nakapasok na kami sa office ko and I immediately sat on my swiveling chair. Nagpaikot-ikot muna ako doon hanggang sa nahilo nalang ako so I stopped. I missed my office kahit na nakaka-stress siya!
"Oh yeah, what's my schedule ngayon Marie? Tell me, konti lang. I deserve a rest." I said.
"May meeting po kayo with the Hotel CEO later at 1:00 pm. May rounds po kayo sa restaurant branch niyo sa Makati. May dinner din po kayo mamayang gabi and at 7:30 pm po, may meeting po kayo with the engineer for the construction of our restaurant branch in Quezon City."
