I almost tear up not until my Mom held my hands so tight.

"Sweetheart, don't be sad. The engagement is still uncertain. And if Sean really loves you, he'll choose, he'll never hurt you and he'll fight against all odds just for you."

I smiled at my Mom and sighed heavily. I'm such a crybaby! I won't cry. Hindi ako iiyak! Hindi ito ang magpapaiyak sa akin. Malalim ang love ko for Ryseann at hindi ang sitwasyong ito ang magpapataob sa akin.

I'll fight for him because I know he'll fight for me also kahit anong mangyari.

"And I won't ever let her go Mom. I will fight along with him. I'll stay by his side forever. That's our promise."

"And that's my daughter." He touched my face then she smiled sweetly at me.

"Of course, nagmana ako sayo! I'm a fighter!" I tried to joke pa and Mom look convinced.

Sinilip-silip ko nalang si Ryseann sa table nila and he still looks so uncomfortable. Its his birthday pa naman. Why does his Mom have to make it this way this time? Birthday ni Ryseann! It was suppose to be happy. He was suppose to be enjoying.

I'll really give my baby a tight hug later.

I'll make his birthday memorable. Pasasayahin ko siya hanggang sa mawala ang lungkot niya. I'll save his birthday kahit anong mangyari.

I'm starting to think that his Mom is nice pa naman! But I guess she's not! She's so cruel for making his son feel lonely and jailed in his own birthday!

How could a mother resist looking at his son like that?!

"Happy Birthday to you... happy birthday to you... happy birthday... happy birthday... happy birthday Ryseann."

Everyone sang a birthday song nang makarating na siya sa harap. He's a man that really don't like too much exposure. Kaya I could really sense na hindi niya nagugustuhan ang presence niya sa harapan. But he had no choice, it's his birthday, duh!

I was staring at him the whole time kaya nang mapatingin siya sa akin, I gave him my sweetest smile and thumbs up.

Kita ko naman ang pagsiim ng ngiti niya mula doon.

My gosh, I made him smile!

I'll keep it up later!

It's so fulfilling pala talaga! Seeing the person you love smile in the midst of his sadness is such a wonderful thing to achieve.

Nakita kong napatingin sa direksiyon ko si Rachelle. She was also in front, just below the steps where Ryseann is standing.

I see her getting pissed kaya may inis sa mata niya nang tignan niya ako.

Gosh, she's still an attitude!

Tinaasan ko siya nang kilay and I rolled my eyes at her. Kala mo, magpapatalo ako to you noh? Never in my life, not even once!

"Happy 19th birthday son. I hope for the best in you and I just wish you another happy year. I'm sorry for being a bad father but son, I am already so proud of you. You're a great son so just keep it up. I am always here son." His father tapped his shoulders.

I saw how my boyfriend genuinely smiled because of his father's short yet sweet message. Buti pa ang tatay niya. He's so kind! He's considerate and I am happy that he made Ryseann smile.
