As promised by Mr. Carnis, we have had our exam the last meeting.

"I have already checked your papers and most of you didnt actually understood the essence of what I gave you." Mr. Carnis told the class.

He distributed the papers with our scores in it. Honestly, I couldnt focus on studying lately. I have too many things running in my mind. So Im actually expecting a low score. But not to the extent that I got zero.

"Oh sh*" I gasped. I almost blurted that out. Mr. Carnis looked at me in a weird way. He seemed angry, ready to devour or whatnot - that, I cannot really explain.

This is the first time I got a score like this. Not to brag, however, I always aced the exams before but not now...because my mind is really that--- ahhh never mind, I muttered. I wouldnt want to use my problems as an excuse to this.

But why would Mr. Carnis looked at me like that. Did I offend him in any way?

Then, he called Anima. This time...his face got more intense. He looked like...like...some sort of a creepy character. He said something to her. I couldnt read what he said so I looked at Anima. Her faced turned red out of humiliation, I guessed, when she saw her score.

She crampled the paper as she returned to her seat. She smiled forcefully at Psyche and tried to compose herself. I know there was something wrong. She was already sweating pretty much so there must really be something wrong, I suspected.

"Okay that's it for today" Mr. Carnis smiled before dismissing the class. But why do I sensed something behind his smile? Im feeling the same feeling I felt before - Im terrified.

Just at that, the class dispersed and went their own separate ways. I saw Gist ran hastily, as if he was running after something urgent.

I ran after him...because he seemed wary.

"Gist!" I yelled.

"Oh Lex! Why? Sorry Im in a hurry!" That was pretty obvious.

"Have you seen Anima? He asked? I was actually running after her. She was in a hurry so I thought that there must be a problem." He looks really worried at that.

'Hey!" Psyche approached us from behind.

"Have you seen Anima?" She also worriedly asked.

"Im also looking for her" Gist huffed.

"She dropped this..."as Psyche showed us Anima's paper. And my gut feeling is confirmed. We both got zero.

But what did Mr. Carnis tell her a while ago. That really puzzles me.

Just at that, Mr. Carnis walk by us. Psyche and Gist didnt waste the chance to ask him if he has seen Anima.

"Ahhh...uhhh--- I think she hurriedly passed the alley going to the gate. She was pretty in a hurry so I thought that there must be an emergency." That's a lie. I knew that that was a lie. He was lying.

Mr. Carnis looked at me with contempt. He must had noticed that I knew he was lying.

"I shall go ahead" he said and waved his hand.

Why would he do that? Why would he lie to us? I kept on thinking but I cant seem to find any answer as to why he did that.

We walked on the alley trying to head to the gate. Psyche is trying to call her phone, but she's not answering. Gist is really trying hard to look around. We have alternately changing our phase in walking and running. God, where is she? Where did she head into? We are really worried on her.

While Psyche's still trying to contact her...

Just in front of us...

A terrifying shocking sound has---

And Everyone got silent...

...time slowmowed...

BLAG!!!

---deafening screams followed! Aahhhh!!! Everyone got terrified. Everyone were in deep shocked!

And my heart skipped! Literally skipped at that...

B-bl-blood???

Bl-blood!!!

Blood spurted on the ground!

Psyche was shocked. Gist was shocked. I was shocked. We froze at that, unable to process what the heck just happened.

And finally, when Psyche was able to assess what happened, she screamed her lungs out. Terrified at that, I pulled her to my chest to cover her eyes.

...a girl was lying on the floor, blood bathed, her eyes opened, her head's cracked. She seemed to fell from the roof top.

Psyche is trembling really hard. I hugged her at that. I was also as afraid as her but I couldnt let a girl witnessed this morbid happening. To be honest, I am also trembling and my heart is beating really fast. I mean, literally. Im scared to death, but...I need to stand firm.

She's crying...this is insane. Why is this happening?

Gist has already collapsed into his knees, staring shockingly on the dead girl, terrified and froze.

Someone is dead! Someone fell right in front of us---she is dead!

God why?!!
