Chapter 12
Lost
When we got home, I took a quick shower before I changed in a pajama and oversized shirt.
"Bakit hindi ka pa nagpapahinga?" it was Elias who's only has a wrapped towel around his waist.
I immediately rose up of my seat and walked to his direction.
"Hinintay kita," I mumbled sweetly.
He exhaled deeply before a smile formed on his alluring lips.
"Come here," he spread his arms, welcoming me for a hug.
I closed our distance and embraced him. I can't help but giggle inwardly─ my nose instantly filled with intoxicating, minty and fresh odor. I feel like it's effortless for him to smell this way as if he was born with a pleasant scent.
Sure, I will miss even the slightest detail of my Love.
That's when I figured that I am not ready to let go of him. Perhaps, I always say that he should go for his dreams but it's still undeniable in my part that I don't want to be distant from him─ physically, emotionally, and every 'ly' that my heart might think of.
"I missed you already," I whispered with tears streaming down my cheeks.
He stroked my hair gently. "Paano ba 'to nahihirapan na ako umalis."
Napapikit ako.
"Am I making this hard for you?"
Bumitaw siya sa yakap bago hinawakan ang aking magkabilang pisngi, lifting my face so our eyes would meet.
My heart doesn't want to let go of him... but my mind knows what's right.
His warm palms squished my face along with his thumb softly stroking along my cheeks, wiping my tears away.
"Yes, baby. It's so damn hard," he deeply exhaled.
"I'm so-"
I was instantly cut off when his soft kiss interjected.
The kiss that assures you as if he knows what you are battling inside. It doesn't matter how quick it was because it still sent shivers down my spine to the point of feeling how it almost lingered in my soul.
Crease grew on her forehead apparently. Mukhang wala siya sa maayos na timpla ngayon dahil kanina pa rin kasi siya tahimik sa palengke pa lang, which is very unusual of her.
