Bellamy's P.O.V.

It had been a week since the group hangout and Clarke was still avoiding me. I had tried to talk to her but every time I got her alone she made some excuse to leave.

Today was the scavenging trip. I was sending 5 people out to go collect materials. I had been planning this for weeks. Miller, Eric, Megan, Luke and Anna were all going and they were packed and ready. They were to leave at 1 and be back by 5. That gave them 4 hours. I walked around camp checking each one had a list of items we were looking for and the supplies they needed like water and rations.

I had checked 4 of the 5 people, I headed to my tent were I was supposed to meet Miller. I approached my tent and found Clarke leaning against a tree next to the tent. I looked at her waiting to notice me. She walked over, "can I talk to you?" The first words she had really said to me in days. I nodded and followed her into my tent. She turned around and started talking, " I'd like to go on the trip today. We need more medical supplies and no one going knows what is useful and what is a waste of time." I looked at her. I didn't wasnt to send her out of camp even in a group, the Gounders may have a truce with us but the wildlife didn't. She shot me a look letting me know she had already made up her mind and was just telling me as a courtesy.

I started to argue but she turned around and walked out. I was shocked. We normally consulted each other but she wouldn't even listen to me. Sighed and walked out of my tent almost directly into Miller. "What was Clarke so pissed off about?" He teased. "She is going on the trip despite my protests." I said. He made a mocking expression "Clarke not listen? Bellamy have you met Clarke?" He laughed.

I reviewed his list and we walked to the gates. It was about 1 so the team had assembled at the front. Clarke along with the other 5 people. Finn came jogging to the front, pack on his back. "I hope you don't mind, but I decided to tag along" he said join the others. I saw Clarke shift away from him and was going to argue but I had no valid reason for him to stay. I reviewed the time they should be back and with that they were on their way.

Clarke's P.O.V.

I had decided to go with the Scavenging party but I hadn't known Finn would be tagging along. I stuck to Miller's side not letting Finn get to Close. I chatted with Miller for about an hour before we reached a bunker we wanted to explore. I went down first despite Megan and Miller arguing someone else should. I opened the hatch and climbed down the ladder with a flash light in my mouth.

I dropped down and landed on my feet. I used the flash light to find a switch and was pleasantly surprised when it turned on. I called the others down and one by one they dropped down. I took the far corner seeing as Finn took the one on the opposite side of the room. I rummaged through boxes and found a radio, Raven would love. I stashed it away in my pack. I found a couple bottles of water but all the food was spoiled.

I walked over to a desk and found a few pencils. I slipped them in my pack and opened the drawers. Inside was some gauze and a small med. Kit, jackpot. I found a small book and placed it in my pack for Bellamy. Miller came up beside me showing me a map he had found before rolling it and putting it in his pack. I walked over to a chest of the floor. I lifted the lid and there was clothes. I called to Megan and Eric. We split them between us and placed them in our packs. I found a small box a jewelry at the bottom and slipped it into my pack as well. Anna announced that the bunker had been cleared and we should move on.

I climbed up after Miller, once I reached the top he bent down to help me up. We headed west, hopping to find more bunkers. I could feel Finns eyes burning into the back of my head and decided to walk with Megan and Miller. We crossed a stream and entered a thicker part of the forest.

Miller froze and motioned for us to do the same. After a moment of silence we heard a growl from the trees but we couldn't see where it had come from. Eric and Miller were the only ones to carry guns so they pushed us between them. I took the knife out from my belt.

Slowly the growling got closer and we began to tense. Eric was the first to fire a shot, Miller cursed just before a huge black cat pounced at us. It knocked Eric's gun out of his hands and clawed at his neck. Blood splattered Anna, who had been standing the closest to him. I pulled Anna back and Miller looked at me before yelling, "RUNNN!" We headed towards the stream as fast as we could. Miller kept turning around to shoot but Finn pulled him back. If we stopped we died.

We ran across the stream and through the trees. I stumbled and rolled my ankle. I heard it before I saw it. I jumped up and ran. I couldn't see the group but I heard Miller. Through the trees I saw Megan running near me. She screamed and ran faster than I ever would have guessed she could. It was almost on me and I couldn't run much more. I turned to see it pounce on me. I gripped the knife in my hand and squeezed my eyes shut. I landed on the ground crushed under the weight of the animal.

It didn't move. I opened my eyes. It was still. I pushed it off, rolling to the side. I looked over, It was died. My knife was sticking out of its chest. I laid there catching my breath. I was covered in blood and my head throbbed. I pushed myself up into a sitting position and began to stand. I grabbed my pack from where it laid unharmed. I scanned the woods, there was no sign of anyone.

I limped over to a rock and pulled out the rough map I had been sketching. I had know clue where I was. I got up and headed in the direction I had run from. I walked for hours. I had passed the stream again and made sure I was going east. Things started to look familiar but I was tired. I needed to rest.

I set my pack down and rested my foot. I pulled out my water and had some rations. It was almost 5. The others should be getting back. Maybe they would come looking for me. Maybe Bellamy would save her, again. I got up and started to walk again. I found the bunker and knew I was about 2 hours away from camp. I pushed on until it began to get dark and cold.

I found a spot near a tree and set up camp. I spent 20 minutes trying to start a fire and almost cried when it finally lit. I drank the last of my water and pulled on some of the extra clothes I had found. I laid down against my pack and tried to drift off to sleep under the stars. I told myself Bellamy would come, Bellamy would find me. And with that I fell asleep.

Bellamy's P.O.V.

It was a little past 5 when the guards yelled out about the team returning. I rushed over to the gate as it opened. Megan was the first to run in. She was shaking. Anna followed covered in blood. I started to panic, blood, someone was hurt. Luke rushed in followed by Miller. I grabbed Miller's shoulder grabbing his attention. He was breathing hard. "where are they? WHERE IS CLARKE?!" I yelled" Miller only looked at me "Clarke..." he said just above a whisper. "What happened?!" I asked spinning to Luke. He was pale but he would be dead if I didn't get some answers.

Luke began to speak as others around the camp started to crowd around, " there was a panther, it was chasing Clarke. I think Finn was with her, I don't know. We all ran. It- it killed Eric." He finished. I almost flew into a blind rage. I staggered towards the crowd. Octavia reached out to stop me but I brushed her off. CLARKE WAS GONE. She was alone outside maybe dead. I fell to my knees outside my tent and started to hyperventilate. CLARKE COULDNT DIE. I COULDNT DO THIS WITHOUT HER. I sobbed, I felt Montey wrap me in a hug and Jasper put his hand on my shoulder.

NO.NO.NO I got up pushing them away. "We have to find them." I said, no one argued but they looked at each other. "Bell," it was Octavia who spoke. "She could be fine, she is smart and Finn was with her. She probably set up camp. We can't send people out in the dark." She said. I knew she was right but I couldn't stand the thought of Clarke out there alone.

"Okay, we send out people at first light tomorrow and we don't stop until we find them." I said. They all agreed. I pushed through them and headed back to the gates. No one else was injured. I knew I should get sleep, I would be one of the many searching for Clarke tomorrow but I couldn't. I sat on guard waiting for some miracle. Waiting for Clarke to walk through those gates and into my arms.
