Bellamy's P.O.V.
I stretched against the soft fabric of my bed. I rolled over to find an empty half next to me. I frowned, this was unusual Clarke was typically always here and it was even weirder that she was missing from my bed the morning after we slept together. I rubbed at my eyes and sat up on my elbows. I looked around my tent, Clarke's dress was still wrinkles in a pile on the ground. I sat up completely Clarke was nowhere in the tent, there wasn't anywhere she could have. I sat up fully and swung my legs over the side of my bed. As I placed my feet on the ground I hit Clarke's boots.
I started to panic. Where the hell was she? She was running around without clothes or her boots, that didn't make sense. I stood up and pulled on the nearest clothing I could find. I shoved my boots on and grabbed my jacket. I hesitated before grabbing my pistol. I picked it up off the table. I told myself I wouldn't need it, Clarke was okay. But something in my gut didn't feel right, something was wrong. I pushed the pistol into my pants and pushed out of the tent.
I basically ran through the camp trying to find anyone Clarke would know. I finally stumbled across Jasper. "Jasper!" I yelled out of breath. He looked at me confused. "Where is Clarke?! Have you seen her?" I asked, practically begging. "She-she is in the med bay." He said. I almost fell to my knees. Thank you. Thank you God. She was okay. Jasper placed a hand on my shoulder. Bellamy, she is fine. I'll bring you to her, okay? She is helping Harper." I nodded. He helped me up and we walked to the med bay.
"Why were you so panicked?" Jasper inquired. I wasn't prepared for the question, "I, couldn't find her and we had a meeting." I lied. Jasper didn't look convinced, but he didn't say anything. We walked up the ramp and into the drop ship.
When I walked in I saw her. She was only wearing a long sleeve black shirt. I recognized it, it was mine the one I had given her. She was bent over Harper, who lay on the table. Her hands were bloody and her feet were bare but covered in dirt. I looked around the room, Raven was helping Clarke grabbing supplies and handing her tools. My eyes landed on Montey he was in the corner with Miller obviously upset. I looked to Jasper. "What happened?" He turned to me and swallowed, "Harper was hurt, she was cut when she was out earlier gathering herbs. She was caught by a branch, Montey carried her back.
Clarke finally seemed to realize I was in the med bay. She whipped her hands on a cloth. She walked over to Montey, Jasper left my side and walked towards them. Montey relaxed as Clarke talked, she had a hand on his shoulder. Jasper reached him and Montey stood up to hug him. Clarke looked at Miller and then she turned and walked towards me.
She reached me and I closed my eyes as she took my hand. She looked at me concerned and squeezed my hand. I opened my eyes and looked down at her. "Whats wrong Bell?" She asked searching my eyes. "I thought something bad happened to you, I woke up and you were gone and-" my voice cracked. She looked at me surprised, but then with warmth and understanding. "I'm sorry Bellamy, I am so sorry. I should have woken you." She said. Then without warning she kissed my cheek and wrapped me in a hug. I was a little surprised but grateful, she was here, she was okay. I hugged her back and after a moment we broke away.
We looked around guiltily, no one seemed to have noticed our interaction. Or so I thought, my eyes landed on Raven and she sent me a knowing look and a shit-eating grin. I rolled my eyes in her direction but I couldn't help but smile a little. I was happy.
"Is Harper okay?" I asked realizing she hadn't told me anything. She nodded her head and looked at her hands which were still a little red from the blood. "She was cut real bad, it was deep. But I stopped the bleeding and sewed her up. She should be fine. Now she needs rest." She smiled sadly. I looked down at her, her legs were bare and it reminded me just how short that shirt was. I shrugged off my jacket and put it around her waist tying it. "You know I liked the shirt alot better when it was only me who got to see you wearing it." I teased, Clarke only stuck her tongue out at me and then blushed. I may have been protective but she was mine and I knew I had nothing to worry about.
Clarke's P.O.V.
I had left Bellamy and the others in the med bay. I had made up some excuse to leave and slipped out the door. I stumble through camp, glad that no one seemed to notice me. I reached Bellamys tent, it hadn't been my original goal, but it was closer than my own. I crawled into the bed, making sure to let my feet hang over the edge. They were still caked in mud from running to the med bay early this morning. I laid in the blankets that smelt like Bellamy. I closed my eyes and breathed in deeply. I was exhausted, I had been so scared when Octavia had come to get me from Bellamy's tent last night. The fear and stress from worrying about Harrper had taken all of my energy.
Another day, another emergency, it would never end. I felt myself drifting off to sleep, unable to keep my eyes open i was grateful for the rest. I shut my eyes and let the darkness wash over me. I fell asleep within seconds to the smell of Bellamy.
When my eyes finally fluttered open i noticed I was still tired. I shift and closed my eyes again. I was just falling back to sleep when I felt something wet touch my foot. I wrinkled my eyebrows together and sat up on my elbows, through sleepy eyes I saw Bellamy wiping my muddy feet with a rag.
I blinked away the fog of sleep and smiled. He noticed I was awake, "sorry, I was trying not to wake you. Go back to sleep." I shook my head. "Seriously Princess, your tired and the camp is still standing I swear. Harper is fine, she is with Raven and Montey. Sleep." He said. I smiled, the nickname that I used hated so much, the one Finn had used against me, sounded so sweet against Bell's lips. I was tired but I couldn't sleep.Every time Bellamy touched my foot, I pulled away, it tickled. I started to giggle, he wouldn't stop. I looked to him in tears laughing he smiled down at me. He placed the rag on the table and crawled into the bed. "That is the best sound in the world, except of course for when your all hot and bothered and you moan my name." He said. I smiled hitting his shoulder a little. He was sweet but he was always trying to get me to blush, I would let him win. I rolled onto my side, and he settled mirroring my body so we faced each other.
His brown eyes were warm and his mouth was settled into a smile. He looked happy, I think I made him happy. We had been stuck on this planet for maybe 3 months and we had never been given enough time to just be happy. I snuggled into his chest and he wrapped me in his arms, I drifted back to sleep, happy.
