Holy Sentience is a religion that believes that consciousness and sentient thought is the gift from a Creation Force concept, and that intelligence is the ultimate good. They believe that God is thought, imagination, and the ability to use magic.

Magic is included in this religion because, even though it has yet to reconcile with some bits of scientific theory, living things can actively use it. It takes a great deal of intelligence to use spells, and so humans, elves, and dragons are considered holy, with a particular focus on mages and scientists. A secondary focus is given to philosophers and creative artists.

Many from the League of Scholars adhere to Holy Sentience, though some would say it is because they are stroking their own ego. Regardless, those in intellectual pursuits owe a great deal to Holy Sentience, either as their driving motivation, or because someone with resources is a follower and funds their research in the name of righteousness. While certainly respectable for its value of coherent thought, many followers of Holy Sentience have overinflated ideas of their own intelligence and value.

Morality is simple; if it promotes complex thought, it is good. If it is seen as unintelligent, it is bad. The definitions for intelligent or unintelligent can be frivolous, as scientists attempt to disregard each other in favor of themselves, and unfriendly discourse is common. Few followers of this religion go on to succeed in society because of this cut-throat competition to be "holy".
