So I have a book in the works to reflect some of the recent events and our history of black people. When I came up with the idea for the story and written out the plot line, I brought myself to tears—like hard crying. Hopefully you guys will love this book and the messages it has and I'll be sure to include teasers up until when I decide the release date.Author's POV
Rain and Messiah came laughing through the Cino household as they held multiple shopping bags. They made the decision to get the tattoo this weekend and would just go shopping for clothes and stuff. They dropped the bags as they stuck a tongue out at each other as Rain trailed over to the kitchen to get out the stuff for their dinner.
"I can't believe that just happened, remind me to never take the train by myself," Rain said as he laughed at Messiah's face.
They had got on the train to go to this shopping mall but it was pretty crowded and Messiah had to be standing behind an old gay man who was trying to cop a feel on him. The whole way there he had to deal with his ass nearly pressed into his crotch and him turning to flirt. Rain just stood there snorting at his disgusted face as he couldn't get away from it. It was the funniest thing he ever seen next to also seeing a man with roller skates and a thong on dancing on the streets.
New York had crazies everywhere.
"I'm gonna just make salads and soup."
Messiah scrunched his face up as he dropped down on the couch. "Don't fix that shit, I know you can cook more than that mess," Rain raised an eyebrow before walking to stand in front of him.
"Well let's what you can cook then, get to it bitch." He grabbed his arm pulling him up, Messiah putting up a finger.
"Watch that bitch word na, don't get yo shit rocked," Rain just shrugged and sucked on his finger. "I bet you'd like if I call you some other things though right?", he slyly smiled as Messiah shook his head.
"As long as it's just me, nasty ass. Now sit ya ass down so I can serve you baby!", he slapped his ass as he ran into the kitchen looking in the fridge.

It was now 7 when Messiah got done with the food. It was Chicken Parmesan on top of pasta noodles with asparagus. Rain looked at the bar table with the plates on it and smiled in awe. He could cook and it looked like some Gordon Ramsey type stuff.
"Baby, you can cook! This looks like it belongs in a gourmet restaurant...that's talent," Messiah just frowned a little waving him off.
"It's not nothing, anybody can cook."
"No baby, for real this looks really good. You can be a chef owning multiple chains everywhere."
"Nah, not a nigga like me. Let's eat," he went to take a seat but a hand was placed on his chest.
