The gruesome stuff I'm writing is not in this chapter, just a disclaimer. I'll put a warning whenever it happens and for those who feel they can't take reading something that is gore-like or involves very descriptive writing of horror like that---I SERIOUSLY advise you to completely skip over it. It will be written in italics and bold so when it ends, you'll know where to pick up reading. I don't want to cause any triggers in anyone so please heed my warning.

If anyone is worried that you'll miss something if you skip over it, be assured that you won't miss anything important whatsoever. And if it really affects someone, I'll be sure to take it down and edit out certain parts. I mean no harm to anyone's mental health and I genuinely care if my readers have a problem with this. Sorry for the long announcement but it's to be cautious!

Author's POV

The Lucca household was dead in the atmosphere, anyone stepping into the structure being ridden with empty emotions and sorrowful energy. The authorities took care of what they could that night with their heads and eyes being filled with strange images they thought they would only see in the horror movies. Like the person who did this was a copycat of famous death scenes who tried to match them in real life except this was way worse. It was almost as if they did it slightly better, more articulated but messy at the same time. The areas where blood splattered on the walls straight down to the weapons they chose to commit this crime. The body wasn't even a body anymore, it was separated. If this were to happen outside of the victims' locations then the police wouldn't even begin to think of the identity the mess had to a human person. She was slaughtered like an animal.

Kristian and Jairo stood outside the back door of the home trying to pick the lock as Noeline kept a lookout for anyone who may see what they're doing. Once they found out about Malana's death they were caught off guard to say the least and felt horrible that she ended up this way. But being as smart as they are no matter who dumb or ghetto they may look to people, they knew it wasn't no coincidence.

Malana was scared as hell earlier that day when she got a text after she had been caught and then all of a sudden she ends up dead that same day. Not to mention she was involved with what happened to Messiah and if anybody knew what she did, she'll be in trouble. Or the person who she was messing with will be found out too---that's the idea they came up with. She had to have someone she was working for and they must've killed her when they found out that she was about to spill. They were watching her every move and got her when she slipped up.

Jairo got the door open and luckily there weren't any alarms and they entered just fine. They looked around the downstairs of the house before their attention was drawn to the tape on the bottom of the stairs. With weary eyes, they crossed under it stepping onto the plastic covering placed on the floors. Nobody couldn't stomach the sight of blood drenched and stained into the floors so they'd rather keep their meals where they belong.

"This some sick shit man, who writes stuff like this?", Jairo voiced out as he frowned at the walls shaking his head.

"A freaking psycho who got something against us. I know I ain't the only one thinking whoever it is got something out for people close to us...or us in general. They want something and they doing anything to get it," Lina said looking into the few rooms they were open seeing nothing too sketchy.

"I think this where it happened," Kristian pointed to Malana's room.

"It's her room, the sick fuck was in her room," Lina busted through the door before she stepped back unsteadily at what she saw. The body---or what was left-- was gone but all the blood was still there to be cleaned up tomorrow first thing in the morning. On the walls, the carpet, the desk and object around with the biggest stain being filled on the sheets of her bed. Lina covered his mouth and shuttered out a sob as Kristian and Jairo brought her into a hug comforting her as she cried.
