Author's POV
It was a long morning and it wasn't until nine in the morning did everyone feel it was the least bit safe to sleep. And they weren't wrong since Nina was using this time to prepare the special activities of the day for them.
Her mind was somewhat similar of her dad's but she was far more demented. It was a spiral of hearing the news about her father's death not too long ago when she got back from a business operation in India. She didn't keep contact with her mother so she heard it from her father's old workers that he was deceased. And once she found out exactly what happened, she didn't wait to construct a plan to make sure whoever did it suffered.
It infuriated her that the only figure or parent she ever really loved would no longer be on this earth and it was minimal to say pissed was the word for it.
But what she would do today was something out of a movie. A game she'd play with them so they would understand pain. The only rule or exception she'd ever allow in this however was that she didn't touch kids. She adored them too much so it's really the only good bit you could find in her.
But the worse was yet to come, though she'd bring it.
I've been up for an hour now just watching over the house. Considering there was a damn bullet shot at me last night, I'm guessing she got snipers set up all around the house. And I found one who was stationed in a car parked right outside. That's the only I've been able to see and I would need help finding the others. She wouldn't keep one at the door and not anywhere else.I was thinking that since we can't leave, we'll have to do damage from inside this house. Kristian got all types of guns and stuff stashed around this house that Élie doesn't know about so we'll be using those.
If Élie can't get anyone to help us from the outside then I thought we could do this from the inside as a last resort. And by we, I mean Jairo, Ueno, Remi, Kristian, and I. We put Kolbie, Dee, Lina, Rain, Élie, and Kaleem in a room and lock it up really good so they won't get out. We take out all the snipers and I call Naj here.
I told Rain I wouldn't have contact with him anymore but we already texted back and forth about this and if I needed him. If I called him, then he would get his entire gang down here and make sure we can all get out in case Nina got anything else for us. If not me, then he'll take care of Rain for me and make sure he's alright.
I feel bad for going behind Rain's back with this but I don't feel bad for making sure he and our kids got extra protection. It's him before me always and I don't give a damn about what he got to say on that.
"Baby?", I turned around seeing Rain getting up from the bed rubbing his eyes.
"Go put a cover over yourself, I don't want you getting sick. It's cold in here," he had on the shirt I took off and some underwear. He out here stripping down like this and it's not even his house.
