The car came to a stop in front of the burning house as we stepped out. I barely shut the down as I ran up to the house as close as I could seeing nothing. Just burning furniture, wood, and no sign of any of our friends' bodies. Nothing at all, none of them. They're gone and we can't get them back.
I turned to the rest as they had stone faces matching mine. She wants it like this then so be it. She'll get exactly what's coming to her.
"Let's go. We have someone to visit really quickly," Elie said with a strict tone as we all followed back to the car.
This may seem like the time for me to go crazy and start sobbing at the fact my boyfriend along with my friends are dead but it's not the time for that. After all this ends, I will grieve and will try to cope with everything then but not right now. Right now, I want to murder someone. I ain't ever felt so much heat and anger fueling up under my skin and it burns so much that I have to release it. And I won't stop till that happens.
Kolbie seemed to be the only one not covering herself with anger. She was what we are inside shown on the outside and it was not in her to help us take Nina out right now.
We pulled up to some random house as Elie motioned for us to get out along with the baby. He knocked on the door and Naj opened it with a straight face. "I'm guessing Messiah didn't make it."
"No he didn't which means you need to keep them safe and do what he asked of you. Kristian told me all about your plan with them and you're gonna carry it out unless you want a bullet through your skull," Elie pulled out a gun and placed it against his head as we moved into the house.
He had boys on the couch who pulled out their guns aiming it at us. Elie didn't tense up one bit but eyed them as he told Rain to sit down with Kinsley in her car seat.
"Tell them to lower their guns or I'll take them all out. Think about my last name before Kristian's took its place---you should know me if you really have big connections like Kristian said you did. You'd know how experienced I am," Naj waved them off as he pulled down the gun from his head.
"What plan are you talking about Elie? Who had a plan and why does it involve this bitch?", I sneered as Naj smiled at me.
"Key, haven't seen you in a bit. Still as fine as the last day I saw you."
"Yeah, when I nearly kicked your ass for trying to feel up on me when Remi was in the next room---trying to rope me in too. What plan did you have?", I retorted back as he sat down on the couch with a sigh.
"Messiah was supposed to call me when things got too hot and I'd come to where y'all at to get y'all out. He ain't ever call so I thought things were under control. Kristian, Jairo, and Remi got in on it too so not only would I ensure Rain's safety, but y'all three as well. But considering you guys here and they ain't, it went left."
