"So you're telling me that she's out to get the rest of us too?", Messiah said as I rubbed my face leaning back against the couch.
"Yes and all to get the stupid revenge of whatever that she needs for her father. Those two or one and the same because he was a monster as well," Élie said as I tightened my grip around Kaleem.
This is getting outta hand. What more is gonna be on our plates cause we already have enough as individuals. However the only thing in my mind is making sure Kaleem and our baby get outta this untouched, no matter what I gotta do.
"Hey, we gotta think this over," I said as everyone turned towards me.
"What do you suggest we do? Who knows what kind of eyes she has on us? I'd rather kill her as soon as possible and get this over with," Élie said as he and Kristian put on his ankle brace.
"Yeah but until we find her, she got the one up on us. She probably watching us right now if she anything like her dad. She could be plotting to kill us at anytime," I pulled Kaleem closer into me as I said so. I need him next to me as much as possible with this going on.
"Well if we stay together and watch each other then we should have no problem. I wouldn't let anything happen to you guys Remi. Now we need to figure out how we go about this."
"No, I already know what I'm gonna do. We going off the grid until the bitch is gone. I'm not risking having anything happen to Kaleem."
"And without eyes on you the moment you step on a plane, you can already be dead! Shut up and listen Remi because it's a fail already!", Élie shouted as I narrowed my eyes at him.
"The bitch only got issues with you—-you the main reason we in this shit! You can't meet up with her and kill that bitch on the spot?! You had the chance tonight and you fucked it up Élie!", I yelled back as he rolled his eyes.
"I can't just kill her! She has other people working for her and I need information on them. If you would sit there and be quiet, you would know that I found out she has a database with private meetings and calls set up that I can only access if she's alive! No trace of anything once she's gone. She dies and we have no idea who comes after us next. It's us against her and whoever else she's hiding," Élie hissed getting up and limping out of the room.
"Rem, come on. Let's talk for a second," Kaleem held out his hand as he stood up. I took it as he led us to one of the downstairs bathrooms.
