Abigail's pov

Trent pointed to the table where a Chemistry textbook sat on the neatly stacked papers. Abby nodded, pulling off Rea's backpack and setting it on the ground before she pulled the textbook into her shaky hands and turned to look at Trent who was watching her with empty eyes; his golden eyes were very intimidating at the moment, but Abby swallowed her fear and asked him, "So, where do you need help with?"

He watched her for a while, then started unbuttoning his shirt. Abby's eyes widened as she started sweating.

"W-What are you doing?" He didn't answer her and instead pulled off his shirt when he had reached the last button, revealing his white tank top, he threw the shirt, letting it land on the couch, Abby's eyes watched it as swear trickled down her forehead: she turned to look at Trent who was still watching her intently. Abby suddenly felt uncomfortable as she tried to focus on the job at hand, she audibly swallowed the lump that had formed in her throat before turning back to the book and deciding to start with Synthesis. She cleared her throat, "So, I've decided to start with Synthesis..."

She took in a deep breath when Trent kept staring at her, still silent.
"Synthesis is..." Trent cut her off.

"-The reaction of elements or compounds to form more complex compounds; yeah, I know..."(A/N: I'm not quite sure about this, you tell me...) Abby was stunned silent at this.

"You know what it is?!" She didn't mean to scream, but it had just come out due to shock. Trent smirked at this, now leaning on the wall still staring at her.

"You didn't think I was as daft as I acted, did you?" Abby couldn't understand his words and was too stunned to move as he walked towards her before he stood in front of her, his eyes glaring down at her.

"Acted?" Trent rolled his eyes at Abby's dumb words.

"I wanted to figure something out..." He trailed off, his eyes taking in Abby's body before landing back on her eyes.

"Something along the lines of acting as well." He turned around to sit on his bed, his golden eyes still on Abby making her feel nervous. She folded her arms over her chest when his eyes lingered there, but doing that didn't seem to help as his smirk widened.

"Why did you call me here if you don't need help?" Trent rose an eyebrow at her.

"You're quicker to get angry nowadays, Rea, if I didn't know any better, I'd think you were behaving differently than usual..." Abby couldn't help but feel scared at Trent's deep words: he had to have known, but Abby couldn't tell cause his face gave off nothing.

"What do you mean?" She shrugged, scoffing at his words to try and give off nothing; he chuckled at this.

"You know, I like this new Rea, she acts more snarky and sarcastic than usual, oh! I think I know someone like that already..." It was clear that Trent was enjoying the scare he gave Abby as a shiver went down her spine.

He knows! He knows! He knows!

"I think it's pretty cool to have a twin, if I had one, I would've shared a lot of things with him, even lives..." Abby started fidgeting at this, pulling up Rea's backpack and turning around to face Trent with a nervous smile.

"I-I think I'll be going now, since you have no problems with Chemistry then..." He rose an eyebrow at her.

"You wanna leave so soon?" He stood up from the bed.

"Okay." Abby turned to look at the door, then him, before walking towards it with sweat dripping down her forehead in anticipation: just as her hand touched the handle and turned, she realized it was locked.
