Abigail's pov

She didn't mean what she said, she was just caught in the moment and sick of all Rea's accusations.

Couldn't she just drop it?! Abby was sick and tired of Rea taking this too far... She had come back the day after she left to God knows where and stopped talking to everyone, Abby got it worse because she got the silent treatment, glares and probably intentional mistakes that included shoving, spilling something on, and kicking; Abby wasn't sure if her legs would walk her to her next life cause they seem to be getting more and more depressed everyday because they are getting mistakenly kicked everyday!

Today was any other day to Abby as she did her morning routine, picked out a red and white sweatshirt and some brown sweatpants, she didn't care if it matched, she was in a really bad mood that morning cause it was morning, combing through her tangled, frizzy locks, she managed to tame them with her fingers without looking in the mirror because she didn't want to see how tamed her hair looked, she pulled on her glasses, deciding that she was going to be Abigail again and let Rea be who she was to avoid anymore trouble, her hair seemed to be taking the longest time to grow even though it hasn't even been a week since she had cut it. She pulled on her fuzzy slippers and galloped down the stairs after Rea, trying to get her to talk to her like all the times before. When Abby reached the end of the stairs after Rea, she had paused just like Rea had, they both looked at the scenery before them. There were balloons tied to the dining table with a banner hanging over the table that said in bold letters that both she and Rea read out loud.

"Happy 18th Birthday, R.A." They both turned to glance around the room for their parents but they couldn't see anyone of them. They advanced towards the table and realised that there was a huge Chocolate cake with sprinkles on top spelling R.A. and whipped cream creating a smiley face under the sprinkles; at the corners of the circle shaped cake were tiny, red cherries and strawberries along with colorful candles that were both bright and dark; the scene caused both Rea and Abby to smile, what they didn't see were the huge shadows behind them before they heard a huge, "SURPRISE!" Rea tumbled to the ground while Abby whipped her head around with a hand on her chest to see her laughing parents.

"Oh my God! Thank you!" Abby yelled, hugging her Mom and Dad until Rea joined in the fun. A while later, the twins had blown out their candles and had their Mom cut the cake. They all had two slices each, letting the remaining cake cool in the freezer. Abby had grabbed a lot of cherries and strawberries along with Rea but grabbed the whipped cream and sprayed all over hers until her Dad took it away from her. She then grabbed her fork and watched with a smile as it sunk into the gooey sweetness, then brought it out to lick it and tasted the vanilla and strawberry icecream almost immediately, she grinned at her parents who sent her a thumbs up and took a big chunk from the sprinkled A in her cake; she moaned at the flavors bursting in her mouth.

"Thiz iz sooo goo!" She exclaimed before chewing once more with a moan again. She swallowed and took a second bite, it just got better every time. Ignoring Rea and everyone else, she focused on savoring the sweet taste, her sweet tooth craving more with every intake of air.

"Abby." Abby turned to look at the person who had called her after she had just gotten her face out of her cake, she was sure she had cake smudged over her cheeks and was frustrated that her short tongue couldn't reach it. Behold, the person who had called her was her twin.

"Hm?" Rea played around with her food, not taking another bite out of it. Abby couldn't help but drool over the sight of the cake moving around on the plate. She could even hear it calling her name.

Abigail. Abigail. Come and eat meee...

"Abby!" Abby's eyes snapped up to Rea's. "Yes?"

Rea sighed with a shake of her head. "Forget it..." Abby shook her head adamantly. "No, no, no, no, no, no, no! You can tell me, I'm listening."

Rea took in a deep breath. "Remember that double date thing?" Abby nodded cautiously, taking a bite of her cake. She was trying to scoop up a strawberry that didn't seem to want to be caught when Rea spoke again.

"I think that you should go as me..." Abby dropped her fork. "What?!"

"Sh!" Rea shushed, nodding to their parents that were gushing over pictures of the twins on their other birthdays on the couch. She sighed, looking back at Abby. "Look, I just feel that I messed up big time with the last agreement. I blew your cover in front of everyone because I was jealous and that wasn't right. It was supposed to be your time to shine in the spotlight, I took that away from you and I'm sorry."

Abby didn't know what to say, she was shocked that her sister would apologise. Normally, she apologised. "I understand, but are you sure you want to do this as me? I mean, it's your time to shine with your boyfriend, I don't want to take that away from you..." Rea waved Abby's words aside with a smile. "Oh, don't worry. It's your eighteenth birthday too! The least I can do is put you in a spot I can be in any other day: I just want you to experience the joy in having a boyfriend is all." Abby found her sister's behavior weird and furrowed her brows at her.

"You're planning something." Rea's eyes widened but quickly went back to normal, but that was not before Abby could see it. "N-No, I'm not! W-Why would you say that?" Abby cocked a brow at her sister, a smirk on her face as she leaned back in her chair.

"You're the worse actress to ever walk this Earth, Rea..." Rea rolled her eyes. "Yeah, yeah, you can say that. I just kept to my promise is all..." Abby's eyes widened and she sat up. "Promise? What promise?" Rea smirked, stabbing a cherry with her fork. "Let's just say, you're going to meet someone important to you." Rea giggled, sliding the cherry into her mouth.

Abby couldn't help but want to see who this person was: she hoped it wasn't who she thought it was...
