Epilogue

Who Said You Can't Go Home Again?

"I, I'll survive "

Alice- Avril Lavigne

I stiffened as Gabriel moved further into my old room his red eyes were gleaming brightly in the candle lit room.

I was still confused about how I had gotten here when I opened my eyes after leaving the Cullens it was to see Gabriel, a young newborn, and a tall buff vampire. We were in a small room without windows I glanced around in panic.

"You will be disoriented for a few moments" Gabriel spoke as he took a step toward me.

I jumped up with a hiss and moved away putting several feet between us I swayed slightly before righting myself.

He chuckled his eyes held amusement "that's no way to greet your betrothed, hummingbird" he purred.

I glanced around anxiously I needed to get out, I had to get away from him.

"No where to run, hummingbird" he said smugly his smile wide and taunting.

Despite my best to fight it my legs gave out and my vision blurred I felt cold thick arms catch me before hoisting me up.

"Sleep little hummingbird" he said quietly.

That was I don't know how many hours ago- but obviously he brought me to this room and waited until I woke up.

"Feeling better- more agreeable" he asked sitting on the end of the bed. I pulled my legs toward my chest and wrapped my arms around them. I would protect my baby at any cost.

"Why did you bring me here" I asked after he continued to stare at me.

"This is where you belong" he said simply.

"Not anymore. Not for a long time"

"This is your home" he said with finality.

"I have a home" I hissed

"I won't let you go" he promised his eyes hardening "you are never leaving here again".
