Craig's POV (play song now) (trigger warning ⚠️)

~Sleeping at last~

"When will I feel this?"

I slowly get up off my bed.

"As vivid as it truly is."

Changing my clothes from my bloody hoodie and wore out sweat pants to a black sweatshirt and blue skinny jeans.

"Fall in love, in a single touch."

Once done I walk into my living room, seeing the shattered phone in the corner along with a few drops of blood from a week ago.

"And fall apart when it hurts to much."

"I'll get it when I get back." I spoke. Grabbing my wallet and keys from the counter.

"Can we skip past, near-death clichés."

Slipping my shoes on, I slowly make my way out of my apartment. Making sure to lock the door behind me, even though I didn't care if someone broke in.

"Where my heart restarts as my life replays."

I walk into the Apple store. Looking around at all the different phones they had.

"All I want, is to flip a switch."

"Hello sir! How may we help you?" A glee filled voice spoke. "I need a new phone." I spoke quietly.

"Before something breaks that cannot be fixed."

"Right this way sir!" He speaks, voice filled with happiness.

"I know, I know the sirens sound."

I follow behind him. My head hanging low as to not catch a glimpse of another set of eyes.

"Just before the walls come down."

"How about this?" He asks pointing to the newest phone. Of course he showed me this one, all they want is my money.

"Pain is a well-intentioned weatherman, predicting god as best he can."

"Sure.." I spoke softly.

"But god I want to feel again."

"Okay that's great! Follow me to where you can pick a case and pay." I nod and follow him through the many isles full of apple products.

We stop in front of a wall full of all different coloured cases. My eyes set on a black case with a little happy face in the middle. I walk up to it, examining it before picking it up and facing the man.

"Rain or shine, I don't feel a thing."

"I see you have picked your case! Great! Follow me to pay." I do as told and follow him to the front of the store.

"Just some information upon my skin."

"You're total will be $500 dollars!" He puts a fake smile on his face as he looks up at me.

"I miss subtle aches, when the weather changed."

I hand him the money as he hands me the phone.

"The barometric pressure we always blamed."

"Have a great day!" I roll my eyes as I walk out of the store. Not daring to look up from the ground as I stuffed my hands in my jean pockets.

"All I want, is to flip a switch."

I tap my fingers on the steeling wheel to the beat of the music. Humming the melody.

"Before something breaks that cannot be fixed."

I walk into my apartment. Placing the phone on the counter.

I look over at the mess in the corner, tears threatening to spill from my eyes. But I blink them back as I make my way over to the closet to grab my broom.

"Invisible machinery."

I walk back over to the corner, looking down at what happened.

"These moving parts inside of me."

I sniffer slightly, my version becoming burry.

"Well they've been shutting down for quite some time."

I push the thoughts aside as I start cleaning the mess.

"Leaving only rust behind."

Once the glass was cleaned I threw it out. Placing the broom on the wall and make my way back over to the corner where my old phone laid.

"I know, I know the sirens sound."

I pick it up slowly. My hands starting to shake.

"Just before the walls come down."

Surprisedly it turns on. Showing my background, which was me and the guys..

"Pain is a well-intentioned weatherman."

I smile sadly at the picture.

"Predicting god as best he can."

But My smile fades as the realization hits me.

"But god I want to feel again."

"They don't care about me anymore."

"Oh god I want to feel again."

The tears poured from my eyes as I threw the phone across the room. Surely breaking it now if not before.

"Down my arms."

My breathing becomes quick. My body starts to shake. I rock back and forth, holding myself tightly.

"A thousand satellites."

I sob loudly. Running to my bathroom, grabbing a razor and pulling up my sleeves. I press the blade over the other cuts, hissing out in pain but I kept going.

"Suddenly discover signs of life."
