Naramdaman ko na may yumuyugyog sa akin. I'm still sleepy bakit ba istorbo 'to? Maaga pa naman. Mamaya pa pasok ko. Ano'ng oras na ko nakatulog tapos ang aga ako gigisingin.

"Hoy bumangon ka na d'yan!", Dannex said while continue to wake me up. Hinampas ko siya ng unan dahil ang kulit niya. Just let me sleep, you ugly! "Nananakit ka pa! Akala mo di namin alam na lumabas ka kanina? Hala sige, landi ka pa!", he yelled. Bakit ba ang ingay nito, kalalaking tao?

"Maaga pa", I told him to make him stop waking me up.

He laughed. "Alas dose na ng tanghali", he answered. Napatayo ako bigla dahil sa sinabi niya. Shocks, twelve ang pasok ko ngayon!

"What?!", I exclaimed getting my clothes to wear.

"Sige, magmadali ka," then he laughed at me. I gave him a death glare. Tuwang-tuwa siya na nakikita akong stress. I looked at the wall clock and it's really twelve in the afternoon. Shocks, late na 'ko. Bakit ba hindi ko narinig yung alarm ko?

Nakita ko pa si Dannex na pinapanood ako. "Ano? Happy ka?", I sarcastically asked pero tinawanan niya lang ako. "Lumabas ka na nga! Isusumbong kita kay Gal, tingnan mo", I warned him. He just laughed more, making me pissed at him. Nakakainis yung tawa niya, bwiset.

"Sumbongera ka pala 'e!", he teased one last time and went out of my room. I took a bath for fifteen minutes. Late na rin naman ako kaya hahayaan ko na lang. I put some light make-ups and tie my hair. I wore my attire and get my bag.

"Ikaw yung late na nag-enjoy pa", Dannex said when he saw me went out of my room. Tinaasan ko siya ng kilay pero ginaya niya lang ako just to tease me. "Tingnan mo, nakuha mo pang magmake-up tapos ang ayos pa ng hitsura mo", then he scanned my face or more like judging my face.

"Okay na akong late basta papasok", I reasoned out like I am just a teenager who's late in my class.

He scoffed. "Reasons, reasons, reasons", he said. "Hatid na kita. Wala na si Gal at Andeng dahil ang tagal mo magising kaya hindi ka na nila hinintay", he added. Tingnan mo 'to, concern rin pala sakin.

"Tara na, late na ko masyado", I told him. He got his keys on the pocket of his pants and we went out. Sumakay na kami sa car niya, I sat on the shotgun seat dahil mukha daw siyang driver kapag uupo ako sa backseat 'e totoo naman, na driver ko siya. I laughed caused of my thoughts.

"Tinatawa-tawa mo diyan?", he asked when he noticed me laughing. I shook my head and look outside. Ang init na dahil tirik na tirik na yung araw.

"Wala ka bang pasok?", I asked him when I thought na nasa bahay lang siya kanina and not wearing his usual attire.

"Mamaya pa, dadaan lang naman ako sa site", he replied.

"Ah".

"Halaman", he said. I raised a brow dahil kung ano-ano sinasabi niya.

"Ha?", I asked him.

"Halaman", he replied. Napailing na lang ako dahil ang bata niya na naman. It took us twenty minutes to arrived at the hospital.

"Thank you sa ride", I thanked him in a not-so sincere tone.

"Anong thank you? Bayaran mo gas ko", he said. Bumaba na 'ko sa sasakyan niya at hindi na siya pinansin. Bahala siya diyan, he's earning enough money tapos papabayaran pa sakin gas niya. I entered the hospitals and the other staffs are greeting me, I greeted them back to show respect and good manner. Sumakay na 'ko sa elevator, hindi ko na rin alintana na late ako. It's first time, they won't mind. When I get on my floor, I glanced at the ER and there their are, doing their work. I went in on my office and wear my doctor's gown. When I'm done, I headed inside the ER.
