I asked him while we are taking pictures with each other.
We went back to the hotel, nagswimming kami ng ilang oras dahil kagabi ko pa gusto magswimming. We stayed at Batangas for two more days, we climbed up at the mountain together, ate at the different kainan together, we made memories together and Batangas witnessed it well.
Our life went back to usual, me as a doctor and him as an intern. While I am facing the monitor to check the results of our patients, Jayna stood beside me and wiggling her eyebrows. I raised a brow at her but she is just grinning.
"What?", I asked her.
"Nagstay kayo together sa Batangas for few days, may nangyari na?", she asked me. I rolled my eyes but she just laughed at me. "Don't tell me, wala?!", she snapped.
"Shut up, Dr. Ramos", I said but she laughed at my face. Siraulo talaga.
"Hi", he greeted. I smiled at him and dinala niya ang bag ko. We intertwined our hands together. It's fine na makita kami ng iba, wala naman masama sa ginagawa namin, pasakay na kami sana ng elevator but Jayna suddenly showed up.
Hinila niya ako kay Dionne. "Hihiramin ko lang girlfriend mo, Dr. Fracio", Jayna said to Dionne. Jayna looked at me. "Iinom tayo", she told me. My forehead creased. Alam naman niya hindi ako umiinom. "Be with me...tonight", she said and I saw a glint of pain on her eyes. I looked at Dionne and gave him a nod. I can't imagine kung gaano siya kapagod dahil sa trabaho niya but he assured me that he likes what he is doing.
Pumunta kami sa isang restaurant ni Jayna, it's like a resto and a club pero hindi crowded. We sat on a table for two and a waiter took Jayna's order, I'm full that's why I didn't order and I don't drink alcohol beverages so si Jayna lang ang nag-order and she order a bunch of alcohols. Gosh! Heavy drink pa!
"Seriously, Jayna? May balak ka pa bang gumising bukas kasi parang hindi na", I scold her while seeing many alcohol she bought. I looked at her, disbelief.
"Just be with me...", she pleased. "Masaya 'ko para sayo Thasia...", she said. She looked at me and I saw a tears that'll start to flow. Bigla akong nasaktan, she's not okay.
I hold her hands above the table. "Ano'ng problema?", I asked her, worried. Hindi kami yung magkaibigan na magsasabi ng mga problema sa buhay dahil ayaw namin ma-burden ang isa't isa but this time, I know and I feel that Jayna needs me.
And the tears from her eyes flow. She's crying. My chest hurt, seeing her crying infront of me is enough for me to get hurt. "Sa dami ng problema 'ko, hindi ko alam kung paano ako magsisimula...Thasia, malapit na 'ko maubos", she said.
