Chapter 5

Brian's pov
After shopping for some things for Rachel we were both tired,I parked the truck and saw she was still fast asleep.i smiled,seeing that she was still holding the backpack I bought her.i got out of the driver's side of my truck,then I opened the passenger door and unbuckled Rachel from her seat,I then lifted her up.i managed to open the front door with one hand,I then carried her inside.i carried her upstairs and placed her on the guest room bed,I then quietly walked downstairs and grabbed the stuff I bought for her in my truck.i then locked the truck,went inside,and locked the front door.i carried all the stuff I bought for her upstairs and placed in near her bed.

As I was about to walk off to my room I heard her whimper,I turned around.i saw her stirring around a bit in her sleep,her eyes were squeezed shut,and she was gripping onto her burnt arm.i lifted her up,she immediately was calm.i exhaled,I carried her to my bed and gently placed her down.i then got in bed,I slowly closed my eyes...

In the morning...

Rachel's pov
I slowly woke up,then I immediately stood up."where am I?"i thought,I looked around.i then saw Brian next to me,"ohhh right,I live with Brian now."I thought.i sighed,"i need to get better at remembering things."I scolded myself in my head."no time for that though,I gotta go to work."I thought,I gently shook Brian."Brian,Brian wake up."I whispered,he slowly opened his eyes."Heh Rachel."he said,rubbing his eyes."I don't want to bother you or anything but I gotta go to work."i said,"it's no trouble at all,but first we need to eat some breakfast."he said."I usually eat berries that aren't poisonous."I told him,"well your whole life is about to change."he said.
