Dear D,
Guess who is finally just 1 year away from 20?! Yes! Me! It's my last "... teen" year and I can't wait to explore wih it! I'm serious, I need to write a bucket list, or something, and totally have fun these year, and especially, break some rules. I can count the number of times I've been disobedient, or I've broken rules. I need to be adventurous.

I had so much fun today, I didn't even believe how much fun I had. My sister woke me up with giffttsss, and a very lovely cake, at 12am in the morning! And of course, I ate some cakee, and some chocolates, as a box of chocolates was amongst my gifts.

I went back to sleep right after praying, and after fajr, I was about to again, go back to sleep but guess who was at the door?

Yep, yep. It was my cousin, Fareedah. Well, she said a happy birthday to me and actually made me freshen up, have breakfast, and then she asked me to go with her somewhere. Of course, I was totally aware that it had something to do with my birthday. In fact, I was aware that I was having a surprise get together.

But what I didn't know, was that Adeel would be there! My eyes almost pooped out of their sockets. I haven't had a conversation with him since Friday, so, I had no idea that he was going to be there. In fact, who invited him?

Well, the surprise hangout was at a Chinese restaurant, and of course, I love Chinese, but just when I was wondering how it was possible for me to have some ice cream, Muhammad came through for me! He brought me a biggggg cup of ice cream, and I didn't finish it at the end, it's waiting for my in my freezer.

I had so much fun. Kawthar was there, Attiyah was there, 'Aaishah was there and in fact, our Jameelah was there too.

We had very deep conversations and they all made me feel really great, Alhamdulilah.

My sister and her husband showed up at the restaurant later in the afternoon to pick me up. We spent so much time and I was wondering if they would actually send us out of the place.

Oh yeah, Adeel and I had a conversation and we decided that we should not talk about anything, and we should just stay friends, and enjoy the day.

I had so much fun, I feel so grateful. My dad and my step mum sent me a lovely gift and called me to wish me a happy birthday.

Unfortunately, I didn't go online on my phone, hence, I don't even know who wished me. I'd reply their messages tomorrow, in sha Allah.

I feel really good.

Yours,
A.
