Chapter 11

I woke up to the sound of Jai heavy breathing beside me, our arms were still tightly wrapped around each other. I smiled thinking about last night, I’d never felt like this about anyone before, I know that’s what they say in all the movies but I did feel that way. I’d only had 2 other boyfriends before Jai and they were hardly special, but with Jai it was completely different, he made me feel like he cared about me, like he wanted to make my adventure, an adventure.

‘Morning beautiful’ Jai smiled.

‘You’re so cheesy’ I grinned, going to kiss him but he pursed his lips together.

‘Morning breath!’ he covered his mouth.

‘And vain too’ I rolled my eyes and got dressed before going to the kitchen to make breakfast.

I reached up into the cupboards to bring down some pancake mix, then brought out a frying pan to pour the mixture in.

‘What’s cookin’ good lookin’?’ Jai winked.

‘Please stop’ I laughed, stirring around the mixture.

‘What?’ he grinned.

‘With all these cheesy lines, they’re too cringey’ I smiled.

‘You know you love it’ he placed his hands on my hips, I could smell his now minty breath as he rested his head on my shoulder.

‘I do’ I could feel him smiling as I kissed him.

‘Can I call the boys to come round here, they’ve been desperate to do some filming recently’ Jai pulled out his phone.

I agreed and poured some extra mixture, ready to feed 4 extra elephants, and Becca.

Luke’s P.O.V

‘Where’s Jai?’ Mum asked as she turned the TV on.

I shrugged. ‘With Lily, I don’t know’ I mumbled.

Jealousy flared up inside of me, so much of me wanted to be Jai, just to be with Lily, but that was wrong, so wrong. My phone buzzed from inside of my pocket; it was Jai, inviting me and the boys over to Lily and Becca’s to discuss filming ideas. A smile grew on my face as I thought about filming, we hadn’t done it in ages, we’d all been so busy with exams that we couldn’t find the time to do our pranks. I ran into Beau’s room to find him and Becca cuddled up, they were both fast asleep. I rummaged through Beau’s drawers then eventually found the horn I was looking for. I crept up to the side of the bed and clenched my face together, preparing for the blast of noise.

‘FUCKING HELL LUKE’ Beau screamed as he leapt up from the bed, Becca closely followed.

I ran round the house with Beau chased me, as mum and Becca stood laughing hysterically. Eventually Beau caught up to me and pinned me to the ground.

‘You dickhead’ he started to pound my chest but I couldn’t stop my laughter.

Becca grabbed his arms and pulled him back so I could get chance to take a breath.

‘I was only trying to tell you that we’re filming today’ I managed to get out in between panting and laughing.

‘Seriously?’ Beau’s eyes widened and a huge grin spread across his face.

‘You still haven’t shown me this you know’ Becca complained to the two of us.

‘You’re getting front row tickets today babe’ Beau replied cheekily.

We all got changed then walked round to Lily’s to find James already there.

‘Skip isn’t out of bed yet’ Jai explained.
