Chapter 26

Lily’s P.O.V

I pulled my hair back into a messy bun and chucked on a plain t-shirt and sweat pants, putting on minimal make up. I walked back into the front room where Beau, Becca, and for some reason, Skip were curled up on the sofa, Jai was flat out on the floor next to where I was sleeping and James looked as if he was just waking up.

‘I’m going to see Luke to sort everything out, tell Jai that I’ll be back later when he wakes up’ I told James. He rubbed his eyes and looked very hung over but nodded.

‘Thank you Jamesy’ I smiled pecking his cheek and heading out to Lukes.

I waited a few seconds before Gina answered the door, pulling her bag over her shoulder.

‘Oh hey Lily, I’m just heading out to do some shopping. Is Jai and Beau still at yours?’ she smiled.

‘Yep, I’m just here to pick some stuff up, they were too lazy themselves’ I lied.

‘Boys eh? Well feel free, I think Luke’s just woken up’ she rolled her eyes before getting into her car.

I went into Luke and Jai’s room to find Luke slumped on his bed on his phone.

‘What do you want Lily?’ he said flatly. I sighed remembering the argument last night, I guessed he hadn’t chosen to move on. Even though being with Luke was wrong and one of the biggest mistakes I’ve ever made I sort of missed the way he treated me and just being around him, being around him when he didn’t hate my guts.

‘I’m just going to go right in and say it, why are you being like this? Why are you ignoring me when we’re with the others, why did you bring Chlo to the party last night and why are you just generally being a dick?’ I asked, crossing my arms. He stared at the wall for a few seconds before sighing and jumping down from his bed to sit on the bottom bunk.

‘I don’t mean to act like that’ he said quietly.

‘Well it can’t just be an accident’ I said sternly, raising my voice slightly.

‘you just don’t know what it’s like to lose your child!’ he shouted. I stared at him, amazed at what he had said. He looked down and shook his head.

‘No I didn’t mean it like that, I’m sorry Lily’ he said as he gestured me to sit down next to him. I reluctantly sat down next to him but before I could say anything he hugged me sincerely.

‘I’m sorry Lily, you’re right I’ve been such a dick. I don’t know, I just thought that with this baby it would connect us in somehow like this way I could never lose you,  but now it’s gone and I just don’t want to lose you Lily’ he whispered into the hug. Tears prickled my eyes as his warm breath tickled my neck.

‘But I’m with Jai’ I sighed quietly.

He nodded and softly kissed my cheek.

‘I miss you Lily’

Becca’s P.O.V

‘Oi pass me my laptop please’ I ordered Beau as I packed my case. It had been a week since the party and tomorrow me and Lily would be going home. We had spent our last week with the 5 boys, going to the beach and doing everything Lily had planned whilst in Australia. Beau and I had shared a lot of tears but we promised each other there was no point in being upset and like he told me the night of my birthday that we should make the most of our last week together.

‘Beau!’ I repeated when he didn’t pass me my laptop. I turned around to find him trying on one of bras. ‘What the fuck are you doing?’ I laughed as I tried to get it off him. He tickled me as I tried to unclasp the bra. He tackled me onto the bed and straddled me, holding my hands apart.

‘I like it, it makes me feel feminine’ he joked.

‘Yeah it suits you’ I winked, finally unclasping it. I pulled him down and kissed him passionately, he rolled us over and wrapped him arms around my waist.

‘I going to miss this’ I whispered into the kiss. He smiled and pecked my lips again.

‘Come on, I need to finish packing’ I sighed.

‘Can’t we just stay here, please, I just want to be with you’ he said, holding on to me. I rested my head on his chest and inhaled the soft scent of his aftershave.

I watched as Lily tried her best to fasten her suitcase.

‘Nice arse’ Jai joked from the laptop, he insisted that him and the rest of the boys would go on skype considering Katy told us to get a good night’s sleep before our plane so we couldn’t stay round at theirs.

‘Fuck off’ she laughed, still unable to fasten it.

‘aww I’m going to miss your smart ass comebacks’ Jai laughed. I rolled my eyes and tilted the laptop towards me; I waved at them all and started pulling faces.

‘Are you coming to the airport?’ I asked them.

‘What time is it?’ James replied.

’10 tomorrow night’

‘Yeah I can make it to wave off my little Becs’ Skip joked. The 7 of us talked until the early hours of the morning until Luke fell asleep on Beau’s shoulder and James and Skip had to go home. Tomorrow was going to be emotional but for some reason I was ready to go home, there was something bringing me back but I couldn’t quite tell what.
