Chapter 21

I woke up to the sound of someone rustling around in the kitchen. I unravelled myself from Jai, he was still fast asleep, and walked out to find Becca trying to find some pans in the cupboards.

‘Here’ I chuckled, opening the cupboard which held the pans.

‘Thanks’ she smiled and started cutting up bacon. ‘I’m guessing yesterday didn’t go as planned then’

I sighed and shook my head, Becca and I had hardly been alone together these past few days and everyone knew not to bring it up last night.

‘Nope, I don’t blame them to be honest. I’d hate me too’ I sighed, helping her cook breakfast.

‘I’m sure they don’t hate you Lily’ she said. I raised an eyebrow.

‘Come here’ she smiled bringing me into a hug. I hugged her back, holding back my tears. Becca had always been my closest friend and had stuck with me through all kind of shit I had got myself in the past few years, I was so grateful for that, I guess I just didn’t show it sometimes.

‘Lets have fun today yeah?’ she smirked, leaving the bacon to sizzle away in the pan and fumbled around in her bag to get her phone. She passed it to me and nodded, I knew what she was doing and I just rolled my eyes going along with it. She found a bucket from under the sink and filled it up with cold water, adding the occasional ice cube.

‘Wet dream part 2’ she winked, referring to the Janoskians video the boys had shown us where Jai poured water over Luke. We decided it was unfair for Luke to be the victim twice and I refused for water to be poured all over my bed, even though getting payback on Jai would’ve been the best. In the end we settled for Beau, creeping down the corridor, trying not to wake him up. I started recording the whole thing as Becca stood next to the bed and tipped the contents of the bucket over Beau.

‘FUCKING HELL YOU LITTLE BITCH’ he screamed, shaking his hair from the water. I tried to hold in my laughter as he ran after Becca, throwing her over his shoulder.

‘Lily bring the camera closer’ I followed Beau’s instructions and put the camera closer to Becca’s face. ‘Now say you’re sorry’ he ordered, laughing.

‘No’

Beau shook his head and started tickling Becca, making her squeal like a baby.

‘Say you’re sorry’ he repeated.

‘Okay, okay I’m sorry’ she giggled as Beau put her down. I finished recording as a very confused Jai and Luke joined us.

‘That’s so going on the JanoskiansBlog channel’ Luke laughed as he watched the clip back. Jai found a film we wanted to watch and pushed it into the DVD player then sitting back next to me on the sofa. I leant my head on his shoulder as the film started to play.

Becca’s P.O.V

‘EEK’ I squealed half way through the film, I hadn’t been paying much attention, instead I was glued to my phone; texting some old friends.

‘What?’ Luke asked, pissed that I interrupted the film.

‘Matt’s having this like get together tonight at his, I haven’t seen him in ages and it’ll be your first proper British party’ I grinned like an idiot at the thought of seeing all my school friends again.

‘Who’s Matt?’ Beau asked, half smiling.

‘He’s just an old friend, you’ll love him’ I smiled, squeezing his hand.

‘Just an old friend? You went out with him for like a year and a half, you were the cutest couple in the whole school’ Lily said. I could feel Beau tensing up beside me.
