Chapter 12

Becca’s P.O.V

I sat with my legs draped over Beau in the living room as he quickly showed me some Janoskians videos before I had to go to school, I’d only seen a couple from what the girl at home showed me but Beau showed me the rest, making me laugh in hysterics.

‘What’s this?’ I tapped the side of the screen. ‘You didn’t tell me you and the boys had twitter?’

‘Erm, well I don’t use it that much, it’s just sort of a place for fans to follow and stuff’ he bluffed, clicking off youtube.

‘Beau! Show me your twitter, what are you called? I’ll follow you’ I giggled, punching his arm playfully. He reluctantly gave me his username for me to type in.

‘Fucking hell Beau you have over 300,000 followers’ I said as I clicked onto his name. He smiled nervously as he rubbed the back of his neck. I followed him then scrolled down his tweets...

‘with my beautiful girlfriend Becca’

‘I love my girlfriend so much’

And another after another after another.

‘Beau, we’re not, we’re just...’ I couldn’t get out my words, the butterflies in my stomach were taking over.

‘No Becca, we’re not just friends. I don’t care what you say but friends don’t cuddle the way we do, friends don’t kiss the way we have, I love you Becca and I want to be more than just friends’

I stared at Beau, his green eyes full of meaning, I’d wanted him to say that for so long and for the first time I didn’t have anything to say, I just leant over and gently kissed his lips, letting my actions do the talking.

We were interrupted by Jai and the other boys knocking on the door.

‘LILY, JAI’S HERE’ I screamed to Lily as Jai went up to her room whilst the rest of them hung back at the door.

I went into the kitchen to get my school bag, closely followed by Beau.

‘Skip school and stay with me’ Beau whispered cheekily, resting his hands on my hips.

‘I can’t Beau, you may have given up on school but this is the only reason I’m here remember?’ I sighed, smiling at him.

‘Please please, pretty please?’ he smirked whilst playing with the end of my fish tail plait.

‘HURRY UP BECCA’ I could hear Skip calling from the door.

I looked at Beau, his mesmerising eyes shining back at me.

‘I’m erm not feeling too good today, probably just a 24 hour thing, I think it’s best if I stay off today’ I bluffed, answering him as I walked into the living room. Lily glared at me, she knew I was fine before but the rest of them shrugged it off and carried on to school.

‘You’re a bad influence on me Beau Brooks’ I teased, wrapping my arms around his neck.

‘I know’ he winked, planting a kiss on my lips. I went to deepen the kiss but Beau pulled away.

‘Go and get ready, we’re going out’ he smirked. I nodded and followed his instructions; I couldn’t exactly make it obvious I was skipping school by wearing my uniform around town. I pulled on a white chiffon top, my favourite denim shorts and my navy converse, I’d never done this before, I was always pretty much a girl who kept her head down, sort of blended in with the crowd, but when I was with Beau I felt like my stubbornness was taken away and what was left was an outgoing girl, ready for anything.
