Chapter 14

‘I, I think I’m pregnant’ I whispered in a hushed voice as a single tear rolled down my cheek.

‘You are joking’ Becca nervously laughed, unsure at whether she believed me or not. I couldn’t meet her eyes, I just looked down. Ashamed.

‘Lily!’ Becca stood with her eyes wide.

‘How?’ she asked walking over to me. I didn’t know what to say, I couldn’t speak, I just shrugged.

‘Well, you don’t actually know if you’re pregnant, like you have no proof’ her voice was strained with reassurance.

‘It’s quite likely’ I sighed, still my voice wavered.

‘You need to tell Jai, he needs to know’ she said.

‘No! I can’t tell him’ I shook my head as the horrible feeling in my stomach grew.

‘You need to Lily, he needs to know about his own, maybe, kid’ she put on a fake smile, trying to make me feel better, but it made me feel worse. She was so innocent, she had no idea whatsoever.

‘I, I don’t kn, know whether he’s the dad’ I whispered, stuttering my words that I couldn’t bear to say.

‘What? It must be Jai, you haven’t been with anyone...’ her fake smile dropped as everything clicked into place for her. Why Luke came here and why we’d been acting so weird around each other.

‘Please. Please don’t tell either of them and please don’t tell Beau’ I pleaded as she stepped away from me in shock.

‘Do you realise what you’ve done?’ she raised her voice. ‘Jai, and Luke for that matter, are both going to be heartbroken just because you can’t keep your slutty hands of your boyfriend’s brother, and to be honest I’m going to let you tell Luke and Jai yourself because I want you to see what a mess you’ve made’

Her harsh words made the tears that were threatening to come, spill down my cheeks, bringing me back to reality where it wasn’t all fun and games.

‘Where are you going?’ I asked her in whisper.

‘To go back to Beau, would you like to come? Considering both of your boyfriends live there too?’ she slammed our bedroom door and walked out, I could hear her telling Katy that she would be staying the night then slammed the front door too, putting the house back into silence. I needed my best friend more than ever right now and even she abandoned me. I curled up into a ball and cried into my pillow, I had no idea what to do. How I was going to tell my mum, how it would even work with me living in England, whether I was even going to keep the baby and more importantly how the fuck I was going to tell Jai and Luke. I knew that seeing Luke behind Jai’s back was a bad idea, but it felt so good at the same time. He was different to Jai, he was cheekier, even though I loved the caring nature of Jai. I knew I should’ve ended it sooner with Luke, before things got so messy like this.

Beau’s P.O.V

The three of us lay on my bed as we played on fifa. Jai constantly winning, making Luke and sometimes me lose our temper which mainly ended up with Jai pinned on the ground. We were about to start another game when mum quietly knocked on the door.

‘Erm Beau, Becca’s here’ she smiled before leaving Becca to stand awkwardly in my bedroom door way.

‘Becca! What are you doing here? Is Lily okay?’ I got up, abandoning the game to bring her into a hug.

‘Erm yeah, she just ill, I just thought it would be best to leave her some space’ she smiled, hugging me back.

‘Is she okay?’ Jai asked worriedly.
