Author's note:

Bakit puro flashbacks ang isinusulat ko these days? I want to have a clear vision how they started, how deep and hard Cresia fell. Which in return may play a big part for the latter part of this story. I don't know of I should do a short version of this story and end this early.

ENJOY READING!! ❤️

(flashback-2)

My excitement about Gino lasted until the very morning.

“Hi, Dad! Good morning”, sabay halik ko sa kanyang pisngi.

“Good morning, Princess. You had a good sleep? You seem happy”, he put down the newspaper he was reading. The maid then served our breakfast but my attention was not there. In his bodyguard uniform—black slacks, white button down long sleeves, black tuxedo, black tie and black shoes—Gino stood at the corner with the other two guards.

He was not looking at me. He was staring blankly ahead with a serious expression on his face. Ang gwapo nyang tingnan. Kinikilig ako.

I giggled.

Maybe it was the challenge he presented. And his looks and package meant worth it for me. My attraction to him was definitely a little bit higher compared to the boys I’ve ever met.

His stance stayed firm. It reflected his military background. Itinuro ako noong isang guard gamit ang kanyang mata. I forgot his name but I was thankful to him.

I waved and smile cutely. He didn’t smile or anything, just stared at me in a quick moment before looking away again.

“Sit properly, Cresia and eat”, utos ni Dad. I winked at the three of them before sitting properly. Nahuli ko ang pagngiti ng dalawa.

“We have a play, Dad”, kwento ko. I was casted last week at ngayon lang ako nagkaroon ng pagkakataon na sabihin. I’ve been an active member of the theatre club.

“Should I watch? Kailan ba iyan?”

“It’s for a cause. The club decided about it before we graduate. It will be our main project for the school”,dagdag ko. “It was scheduled for Christmas, I guess we talked for December 17? But that’s tentative”

“December 17? Don’t we have an appointment abroad on that day, hija?”, paalala nya. I remembered it clearly. We were set to go to Spain on that day so we can attend a party with my cousins for Christmas. It was a tradition. We seldom celebrate it here in the Philippines.

“Can’t we delay our schedule for at least a day, Dad? Please? I got the main role”, pagmamalaki ko. “Besides, we can still leave pala right after the play. Sa gabi na lang ktayo umalis. I really want to do it, Dad.”, I pouted my lips.

“You really know how to wrap me around your finger, Princess. You know I can’t say no to you when you use that tone”, he released a big sigh.

I smiled in triumph.

I had a peaceful yet busy day at school.
