As we headed down the busy road quietly, Catherine tried to break the heavy burden following us. "Hey, hey. Let's not dampen the mood. Look how beautiful it is outside!"

We stared at Catherine silently for a few seconds before Tristan tried for a smile as well. "She's right. Let's just...take a breather."

"Princess," Justin gruffed. "Come here."

I glanced up at him as I quickly rushed up to his side. He reached into his pocket and pulled out gauze tape. Sticking out my hand, I let Justin wrap the bandage around my finger. I bit my tongue, trying to keep in my yelp as I felt the stinging of my cut swell.

Justin tore the end of the bandage with his teeth and tied a neat knot before letting go of my finger. "There."

"Thanks—" I started before suddenly getting knocked from behind. I stumbled back a few steps, momentarily confused by the collision. Glancing up, I spotted a woman clinging on to Justin's arm.

"Heyyyy," she purred. "Where are you going? Do you want to hang out with me?"

"Oh boy," Tristan muttered as he grabbed my shoulders to steady me. "Here we go..."

"Should we just leave him?" Catherine proposed.

"Yes," Tristan replied immediately as more women began to flock around Justin. Glancing at Justin, I was impressed by the women being able to stand his moody expressions. He looked as if he wanted to kill somebody right now.

Suddenly, a new pair of women caught sight of Tristan and made a beeline to him. I flinched and quickly pulled Catherine out of the way before we could get trampled.

"So..." Catherine sighed as we watched the two get touched all over. "What's the plan now?"

"I don't know," I frowned. "You wanna save them or not?"

"I don't feel like saving them," Catherine grumbled.

"Neither do I," I replied.

We looked at each other for a long second before letting out a tired sigh. We didn't even have to say anything: both of us knew we couldn't leave the two boys stranded like that.

"You get Justin," Catherine said.

"Why do I get Justin?" I muttered. "I don't want the bigger crowd."

Catherine gave me a suggestive look, and I responded with a confused one. She waved me off dismissively as she skittered over to the crowd Tristan had gathered.

I blanched as I turned my eyes towards the humongous crowd around Justin. Sighing, I timidly walked behind the crowd.

I could barely reach the woman's shoulder in front of me, nonetheless be able to peer through the crowd.

Should I just save my life and leave Justin?

Honestly thinking about all the teasing Justin has done to me, it didn't sound like a bad idea. But...

I glanced down at my bandaged finger and sighed. Here goes my whole pride...

"Oh!" I cried dramatically, literally ramming my whole body into the crowd. The woman blocking my way immediately fell over, letting me jump over them.

I pushed aside the remaining women and grabbed Justin's cloak, pulling him towards me. Swallowing my last bit of pride, I cupped Justin's face in my hands and said, "Honey! We need to go back home to the children!"

The look on Justin's face was priceless. But when realization sunk in, amusement and playfulness literally began to emit off of him.

"Really? You came to pick me up even though it was so dangerous outside?" Justin grabbed my hands and leaned close to my face.
