Plot: on a young age Dongmyeong gets send to the castle to help prince Geonhak on his own. His rank lowers till he is the baddest of all workers, because they see his as dumb. Later on the prince calls people since he has to marry someone. He chooses Dongju. But he doesn't remember Dongmyeong. Everything seems so far from normal, till someone bumps into him.

The five year old twins are playing with there plushies. Even though not everyone wanted to believe the two are twin's the two young males are really close with each other. Then there mom comes in. "Dongmyeong 'sweety' we got you a job so you can get money for the family." at this point it was and is obviously that Dongju is there favorite child and they hate Dongmyeong because he's more tanned. "will Dongju come along mommy?" there mother just grabs the young male's arm and pulls him along. "Dongmyeongie!" Dongju wants to go after him but is stoped by his father.

He crys softly as he's brought to the castle. He didn't want to be there, he wants to play with Dongju! She gives him to the guards saying that it was his wish to work in the castle. They take him in and tell the king. He looks at the child, be didn't care that much about the young boy standing there, tears over his cheeks. "learn him the basics. He'll be a maid. (there where more males adresed as maids since it is for both genders) if he does anything wrong his rank will be lowered." the guards take him to the room where the maids sleep. "I want to go back to Dongju!" the younger yells. They don't mind him and search for something that will fit him. They end up putting him in a main dress since that's the only thing that fits.

8 year old Dongmyeong.

As fast but as carefully as he can he carys the tea for the king, queen and the 11 year old prince. It would be the prince's first time seeing Dongmyeong. He knocks on the door. "come in" he opens the door and walks over to the table. As he wants to put it down the tea pot falls over and spills over his chest and hands. He drops the tray making one little splat of milk come on Geonhak's hand. As fast as he can Dongmyeong rushes out of the room. "from now on your not the royal maid anymore. Your just a normal maid. Your not aloud to enter rooms when the royals are in but you are aloud to clean there rooms.

14 year old Dongmyeong

Everytime when he has to make tea he accidentally spills it over himself. His chest is coverd in burn wounds. At the moment he's cleaning the prince's bedroom. As he sits down on his knees his sleepyness hits him. He didn't have a good night of sleep since he came here. But it hits him now. And slowly he fals alseep on the floor. He dreams about Dongju. He never got his letters, they where always sent back. He just wanted to get out of this place. He couldn't handle it anymore. But he was to scared to ask if he could leave. Someone cleared his throat. The younger looks up. It's prince Geonhak. "I'm so sorry." Dongmyeong bows and leaves as fast as he can.

"your rank is now basic maid. Your not aloud to enter any room owned by the royals unless they ask you to or if a higher ranked maid/butler is with you."

The same day Dongmyeong is walking the a duster in his hands. He's following the other maids. One of the guards walked by. He stops and shoots one of the maids. The others start panicking. He kills the others. Dongmyeong acts if he's dead. The guard shoots in his leg but then leaves.

After hours someone finally walks into the hallway. "oh my! King, these been an accident!" The king, who was going with the butler looks at the sight. "there all dead!" Dongmyeong sits up slightly. "I'm not." he softly says. "did you see who did it?" Dongmyeong nods. "a guard. He had a gun." the butler nods. The king leaves. Dongmyeong sighs. He stands up but falls back in pain. His head is spinning from all the pain. But he still get up and continues his job.
