Plot: For his birthday Lay goes back to Korea. But as he arrives in the dorm no one is there. It completely ruins Lay's mood and day.(with a good ending

Unable to hold back his excitement lay runs through the hall of the airport. He had to be back in two days but non of that is on his mind. It's very early, 5am. He made sure to be back in Korea in time for his birthday and to be able to celebrate his birthday with the other members. His past birthday where all in China but this year was different.

Telling the driver the address he steps into the taxi. "you seem really happy sir." Lay smiles. "I'm going to my family here, and it's my birthday." the driver smiles. "well, happy birthday from me then." he smiles again. His phone vibrates showing a few messages

Tao🐼:
Happy birthday!
I sent you a gift but you said you where going to Korea for your birthday
It will probably arrive in your dorm in China later today or tomorrow

Lu:
I sent a gift too!

Kris:
So did I, thee gifts from us

I feel so special 🥰

Kris:
No wait....
I sent a big one and five little gifts

Oh wow, really? All for me?

Lu:
Wow....
I sent two big ones and two little ones....

He steps out of the taxi and pays and thanks the driver. As he walks to the door he gets a bad feeling. He closes his eyes and shakes his head. Then he unlocks the door. His heart sinks as no lights are on. Walking through the hall he reaches the living room, wich is empty. Disappointment hits him as he sits down on the couch. All his excitement drowns away as tears well in his eyes.

To make his day a little better he went for a walk past the Han River, but it didn't help. As he reopens the door he sees there house helper, Hong Joo. "Lay? Why are you here?" "I thought I could celebrate my birthday in Korea with the guys.... But I guess not." he walks upstairs.

Meanwhile the other EXO members are camping out. As they are sitting around the fire just relaxing on their phones Suho receives a message from Hong Joo.

Hongjoo🧼:
Um.... Lay is at the dorm....
He came here to celebrate his birthday with you.....

Suho drops his phone. "what is it." they look at their leader slightly confused. "Lay...... He came to Korea..... To celebrate his birthday with us." Xuimin jumps up. "then we should go to him!"

Lay stares out of the window. He texted Tao, Luhan and Kris about it but non of them read it yet. As he hears the door open downstairs he tenses up. He can't say if it's out of excitement or out of fear. While being frozen in place he hears his name being called out. "Lay, where are you?" it's Suho's voice.

Slowly he walks downstairs. Halfway down he bumps into Baekhyun. "there you are!" he pulls Lay downstairs to the living room. The other members are sitting on the couch and on the small coffee table is a cake. "Hongjoo told us that you went home for your birthday..... But we didn't know. So we came back to celebrate it with you. We didn't have time to buy you presents though...." Sehun says as he looks down. "what's fine to me. All I wanted was to see you again. And let it be like the old times."

They spent the rest of the day playing games and eating cake. The day before Lay had to leave the went out to have fun. And when Lay returned back he celebrated his birthday with his Chinese friends.
