"park jeongwoo! did you seriously did that?!" doyoung's exclamation echoed around the room as jeongwoo told the situation.

they were currently resting inside his apartment, not until doyoung started shouting his lungs out in frustration.

"you're overreacting! that's so embarrassing!" doyoung yelled as he grabbed a handful of his hair and pulled it further away from his scalp, ignoring the pain as the feeling of frustration overlapped.

jeongwoo rolled his eyes in response as he continued to lie down his bed, finding the male quite annoying to begin with.

he was the one who's overreacting, he thought. maybe it was a bad idea to talk about this matter to this doyoung right here.

"you're the one who's overreacting! stop yelling!" jeongwoo retorted as he scowled right at the male.

he was mad, doyoung knew, and so he pressed his lips into a thin line and remained silent for a few minutes before continuing to bug the male again.

"but really, jeongwoo. you shouldn't be feeling all those things if you don't have feelings for him," doyoung stated, taking a piece of popcorn laid down on his mini coffee table.

jeongwoo agreed somehow, hinting that what doyoung had said is quite accurate. he looked up at his ceiling while his back laid right at the bed, staring into void, thoughts wandering around his mind.

"don't tell me, you have feelings for him?" doyoung dramatically gasped at the thought. it then rendered jeongwoo to swiftly be in a sitting position.

of course not! at least, he did not believe. he did not even pay attention that this may be one of the reasons why he's acting so uncomfortable when he's around.

his heart wouldn't just skip a beat for someone who's just a stranger, his stomach wouldn't just churn and the butterflies wouldn't be anymore lively when he's around with someone he doesn't even admire.

what is this?

"s-shut up! i don't like him! its just me being weird," jeongwoo stated, being overly defensive.

and doyoung may look stupid, but he isn't dumb enough to not notice. he knew his friend and he could see through any holes of his imperfect facade.

doyoung knew that jeongwoo saying he no longer liked the male was all stupid bravados, and that this male in front of him still has the slightest amount of admiration and still cares for him despite the time and distance he was in after all those years.

"i'll pretend that i believe," doyoung chuckled as he took another bite of popcorn. "if you finally realize that you like him, don't go asking for advices."

jeongwoo pressed his lips into a thin line, contemplating on whether he still really has feelings for the male or not. but then the thought of thinking about it early crosses his mind, and it may be too early to drive out into any conclusions.

they just met after all, its not like his feelings would dramatically come back just by talking and saying hi to him in just a split second. but maybe that was indeed the case, and jeongwoo was just being in denial for the sake of his vanity.

after a few minutes, their conversation died down. doyoung was just munching on popcorn and jeongwoo was in the middle of getting lost by his own thoughts.

doyoung was unbelievably quiet today. jeongwoo wondered, and so he thought of a topic but then later contemplated on whether he should ask the question or not.

"aren't you dating someone?" jeongwoo opened up, trying to be as careful but with tease at the same time.

he noticed how the male choked up from his word, getting stiff and acting uncomfortable from the sudden mention.

"im not even! what makes you think that?" doyoung frowned, looking down at the thought.

its not like jeongwoo actually finds the male odd, or maybe he does. jeongwoo furrowed his brows as he stared at the male, then heaved a sigh after realizing that maybe doyoung was telling the truth or on second thought—just didn't want to talk about it.

"your reaction says otherwise, but if you don't want to tell me then its okay," jeongwoo uttered, ending the endless denial.

they then decided to watch movies on netflix to at least ease the awkward atmosphere that escalated pretty much quickly. and then when the clock strikes ten, doyoung waved goodbye and left the apartment.

long after, jeongwoo prepared himself and went to bed to give himself the well rest he needed.
