"i'll take these," jeongwoo pointed at the menu, specifically where the banana milk and tiramisu were written.
haruto shot his head up to look at him then back to the menu. he wanted to say something as he opened his mouth, but then closed it after he shrugged the thought off while giving an "okay".
haruto called the waitress that was busy taking the orders of the people right in front of their table.
after hearing the call and then somehow finished taking orders, the waitress made her way towards the table and flashed them a smile to show their hospitality.
"what is your order? oh, are you a couple?" the waitress giggled, looking at the two males in front of him.
jeongwoo almost choked from his own saliva after hearing her claim, the temperature on his cheeks started to escalate.
he was completely bothered by the fact that this girl in front of him mistook them as couples, when obviously they were not. was that how people see them? jeongwoo did not believe.
"haha, no we're just friends," haruto took the lead to answer the waitress after seeing jeongwoo's panicked and botherec expression.
haruto was seemingly much more calmer than the other male who almost freaked out after hearing the word couple.
and jeongwoo had thought, that maybe haruto wasn't that much bothered because he did not care of their status and are only meant as friends.
that thought itself calmed jeongwoo, in a way that he suddenly had the instinct to remain behaved and proper.
his actions probably questioned haruto, and he would be doomed if that was the case. jeongwoo noticed how the waitress covered her mouth as she dramatically heave a gasp, quickly bowing and apologizing for mistaking them as a couple.
"im sorry, its just that you look like one," the waitress apologized for the last time, completely bashful of her mistake.
after a moment of calming down, haruto had stated their orders and the waitress took her leave still with a bashful face.
"lets start," haruto casually uttered, opening the book in front of him.
jeongwoo wondered how the male could be so calm when they were mistaken as something terribly embarrassing? or maybe he was the overrracting and taking things into the next level.
jeongwoo just nodded, and then started their session.
-
"here's your order, sir," the waitress arrived, although it was different from earlier, maybe she was way too embarrassed to face them again.
the waitress placed their orders on the table then left after settling everything on their table.
"lets take a break," jeongwoo paused discussing to take a sip on his banana milk to quench his thirst.
his throat was awfully dry and sore just because of talking too much to teach haruto. jeongwoo was feeling undeniably tired from today, and they weren't even near to finishing up the discussion on trigonometry.
"im glad you're paying attention to me today," jeongwoo flashed a small and weried smile, obviously grateful by the fact that he's not blabbering things on someone who doesn't give a care anymore.
it always felt good and motivating when someone actually give a matter on what you're doing. and he was more than glad to see haruto not nearly dozing off to sleep when he's as tired as him.
"i hope your professor give you quizzess everyday, then maybe you'll listen to me always," jeongwoo joked, chuckling at his statement while taking a bite at his tiramisu.
he then glanced up to take a look at haruto whose expression wasn't readable enough for him.
"doesn't that mean we could also see each other everyday?"
