"what makes you call, mister watanabe?"

jeongwoo simpered, trying his hardest to supress an amused giggle, taking a look up to the other three that stared at him in utter disbelief.

he had no idea why he's calling his student in an odd, formal way, but found it quite amusing otherwise in his case.

he continued to wait for a response not until heavy breaths and peculiar noises entered his ears, finding it odd for him to hear at this time of the night.

he waited, and waited, until all the noises that came from the other line was replaced with uneasiness; stomps and intense, unusual tappings that lasted for a good one minute.

jeongwoo furrowed his brows in nothing but perplexity, followed by the other three who impatiently waited to know what the hell was going on.

waiting for a minute to ease the woes that continued to rise from his insides, jeongwoo opened his mouth and asked, "are you okay?" a soothing voice coming out to at least help the male calm down and tell him what exactly happened.

he waited, again, receiving utter silence.

"uh, yes, i'm fine," was heard from another line, a rather reassuring voice not referring to him but to himself.

jeongwoo doubted, of course, saying that abruptly when it only took him at least minutes to calm and stop the distinct noises that echoed through his phone.

"what's wrong? why did you call, haruto?" jeongwoo asked once again, desperate to hear at least an answer coming from him that would definitely calm the unexpected worry he built inside his sanity.

calling him by his first name didn't go noticed for him either, uttering it normally as if they were friends for such a long time despite meeting just weeks ago.

at least that's what the other three thought, exchanging glances as they continued to wait for an explanation.

"can we meet up? tomorrow," the other male uttered, unsteady breathes still visible as he continued to calm himself down, letting the ire that took over to die down and dispel.

lucky as he is, jeongwoo fortunately answered his despondent trials of several calls— wish being heeded by the heavens.

jeongwoo however, hesitated whether he had the right to say yes, that is if their meet up is solely for the purpose of tutoring him.

but if its something going out with him alone in whatever places they would traipse with, that would cause unintentional misunderstandings and inevitable fantasies that are automatically generated by his mind per se.

a date?

"session?" jeongwoo asked, internally hoping for a rejection and disapproval of his query.

he's not saying he was never really up for a session, knowing that is the reason why he are keeping in touch of haruto now, but having another friendly hangout with him wouldn't hurt.

"yeah," haruto answered, rendering jeongwoo to immediately cause utter defeat and dismay.

why didn't he have the courage to say that what he wanted wasn't a session, but only a day-off to cool of their minds despite doing it just earlier? what the hell, park jeongwoo? get yourself together!

"o-okay, alright then. what time?" jeongwoo coughed, excusing himself for his incompetence as he took a glance at the other three; junkyu not paying anymore attention to their conversation but the other two continued to look at him as if getting through the cracks of his flawed facade of being proper.

"after your class. i've got to go now, see you tomorrow," haruto answered, rather quick as a loud beep was heard through the other line, indicating that the call was ended.

confused, but most likely disappointed to end the conversation just like that, jeongwoo sighed in unnoticeable emptiness before looking at the other.

"so?" doyoung raised his brow as he waited for an answer but recived another heavy sigh from jeongwoo instead.

"session, tomorrow." he uttered, sounding slightly uninterested.

"are you uninterested because you expected that he will treat you to a date?" jihoon jested, a loud cackle along with doyoung as they high-fived each other, espying through jeongwoo's expression as if it was a piece of cake.

and for instance, at that very moment, jeongwoo stomped his feet in elevated agitation.

"LEAVE. NOW."

a loud crunch was heard once his sneakers made contact towards the ground, his hair once again disheveled as he took a leave from the bus he took on just a few minutes ago.

occupied to making his hair neat and his clothes proper, he look up at his surroundings once everything was perfect.

not until he saw a certain man sitting at the bus stop, obviously standing out than most people walking around the busy street.

jeongwoo did not expect this either, he never really had the idea as to why him, out of all people, was sitting down there with no mention that he would do so.

"haruto!" jeongwoo called, looking around as he took a step towards the bus stop.

he's too bright, to out of reach, and his visual is breathtaking—more of a reason why he could see people staring not at him but to the other through his peripheral.

"hey," haruto looked up from his phone, locking it before standing up.

jeongwoo would have to slightly look up to meet the other's eyes due to the difference of their height, with haruto almost looming right in front of him that would always make him feel small.

if they hug, then maybe he'll feel secure.

"hi, mister. what are you doing here?" jeongwoo asked, trying to clear out the reason as to what exactly was he doing there but haruto just glanced at him with brows creased, probably in wonder as to why he would address him like that.

shrugging the thought, he looked at him and flashed another genuine smile—one that would never cease to make jeongwoo's heart flutter.

"in my apartment, let's study there."
