"jeongwoo, come here, let's settle down," he heard the other, looking up to him and seeing him unpack the clothes and necessities he brought along with him.
jeongwoo was stunned, he still couldn't find the strength to stand up and face him just after that happened.
he isn't stupid, he didn't expect to be able to move on as fast as speed unlike the male in front of him who just acted like nothing happened.
jeongwoo was confused, a mix of agitation as he sat there while observing the male. nothing weird on his actions at all. and it hit him, like a meteor—that maybe it's one of haruto's ways to have fun and play with his feelings again.
it would have been great if he opened up with his feelings and tell him the truth, rather than giving clues without having any guarantee if it was actually the truth or just a mere speculation.
anyhow, jeongwoo had no time to appear weak and play along with his tricks again. although he wanted him to play with him more as long as it would give him hope, he isn't that stupid enough to just let things go by his way.
and so he stood up, still having no balance to stabilize himself ong with his feelings, before making his way towards the male to get himself ready.
he still couldn't take the statement out of his mind, it continued to ring and resonate inside his mind.
however, he still found the reason not to get carried, just not yet, until everything's clear enough for him to actually feel these things whenever haruto was around.
the two of them did not utter any word, just them minding their own small worlds and thoughts as they continued to unpack their clothes.
fortunately as time passed by, jeongwoo was able to forget the thought. but he knew so well that it still rested at the back of his mind.
after a few minutes of long packing, haruto invited the male for a walk before the party would even start.
jeongwoo had no idea if haruto would invite some of his friennds along with the walk, but didn't say anything when he questioned him.
as they left the cabin, haruto talked at a few of his friends to say his greetings before the party would even start.
"hey, we'll just go for a walk," haruto informed, looking at the other who's focus was not onto him, but to the person next to him—jeongwoo.
he was startled, as expected, trying to be as brave as he could muster as he tried to look at them back. they were awfully handsome, as he had observed further, giving out same vibes along with haruto—being rich.
before he could almost drain out the courage he mustered, the others then looked at haruto with looks that he couldn't somehow fathom.
haruto however, just rolled his eyes upon understanding the looks on their eyes, turning around and holding jeongwoo's hands as they walked away without saying anything.
"huh, so it's just the two of us?" jeongwoo questioned, almost on verge of panicking once again but tried to properly compose himself.
he saw haruto let go of his hand, placing them on the insides of his pocket causing the other to feel somehow disappointed.
"yes. i saw you staring at the sea earlier." jeongwoo turned to look at the sea just when it was mentioned.
the sun was no longer visible on their sights, replaced by nothing but a palette of blue covering the sea. it was still breathtaking, however, and jeongwoo couldn't help but continuously look at it until he'll get disturbed.
