"jeongwoo, stop crying," junkyu's mellow voice made jeongwoo to shot his head up and look at him as tears continued to stream from his eyes. it didn't help— well, he appreciated it. but the pain inside his heart that he thought was gone continued to rekindle, and he couldn't handle it this time.
its been two days since that incident and left the apartment, and never did he try to communicate with him ever since. even if his friends try to convince that it was fraud, denying the truth and turning it to fallacy— it was too vivid, and he did not need any explanation or excuses for haruto to win him back.
if he would.
because just when he left the apartment and went home with his heart shattered, the japanese continued to annoy him with calls he couldn't even answer. up until now, at this very hour with his friends occupying his room, his phone never ceased to ring.
he saw jihoon shoot him a glare as he attempted to reach out for his phone and answer. but before he could, the other already snatched it away from him with a disappointed look.
"i thought you blocked his number?" the older male asked, patiently waiting for his answer only to receive silence as jeongwoo bit his lower lip in guilt and pain.
he wasn't crying because jihoon will surely scold him, nor was he crying because the others were looking at him with such sympathy that rendered him to flood with tears. it wasn't mainly because of haruto either— it was because of himself, and how truly disappointed he was.
jihoon only heaved a tiring sigh as he looked at the latter's disheveled state. he knows that they had to help, but with jeongwoo shrugging every advice they could think of and utter made his situation hard enough to handle now that the tanned male declined their offers.
"you don't want to block him?" jihoon asked for the second time, although expecting an opposite response this time, before flopping down the couch as the other two remained silent.
"do it, go block him."
he answered in hesitation, causing jihoon to form his brows into a crease as he unlocked the male's phone. what was he supposed to do, now that he bothered everyone and even made them come inside his place?
the thought itself made jeongwoo to reconsider his actions, not affording to worry anyone sny longer as he wiped his tears in compensation. its not like it didn't help, but as he continued to erase the evidence of his sadness, the warm liquid just continued to fall from his eyes.
"jeongwoo, maybe you really should take a break," doyoung suggested, heaving another sigh as he looked at the other with birse.
maybe he should.
"ah, speaking of a break, jaehyuk is actually gonna come home today!" junkyu beamed in happiness, immediately turning the tables and trying to uplift the atmosphere by his own. but the effort was there, jeongwoo noticed, and so he smiled upon the news especially now that his friend will come home from a long trip in japan.
"really? jaehyuk?" jeongwoo questioned for confirmation and recieved multiple nods as an response.
if he wants to forget,
then he will."yeah, he did say that he wanted to go hang out at that famous club in the city," doyoung added before jeongwoo could even register the place. popular club, he knows one— and he's been there before, with him.
this made his heart ache again, their first kiss.
but was this the time to actually get gloomy and lament over something he wasn't even at fault at? he convinced himself a couple of times that if he wanted to forget, then he'll try, even if he had to leave things behind
