Tahimik na naka upo sina Yana at Craig sa living room nang nanay ni Yana. Pareho silang kinakabahan sa mangyayari. Lalong hinigpitan ni Yana ang pagkakahawak sa kamay ni Craig.
“Alright, tell me the reason why you got married without telling anyone about this…” sabi ni Levi…
Hindi agad makasagot sina Yana at Craig dahil hindi nila masyadong napag usapan ang dapat nilang sasabihin pag tinanong sila.
“Mom, ahmm, we wanted it a surprise…” sabi ni Yana
“And Vegas is the best way to do it? Akala ko ba pumunta ka sa States para kumuha nang exam..” tanong ni Levi
“I did, I went to Vegas after the exam…”sabi ni Yana…
“How long have you been married?”
“Ahmm, about a month now…” sagot ni Craig
“Alright…So let get things strait…Yana, your not pregnant?” diretsong tanong ni Levi
Napanganga na lang si Yana sa tanong nang nanay nya… That question has been hunting her the whole day… “Oh my God, Mom… I swear I’m not pregnant we I got married… so please lets close that issue…” sabi ni Yana…
“Ok, Ok… it’s close… but how about now?”
Napataas ang isang kilay ni Yana… “What do you mean now?” tanong ni Yana
“Diba sabi mo, hindi ka buntis nung nagpakasal kayo…”
