"Christ Rita, what are you doing here? Get the fuck out" Mikhail growled, instantly coming off Raven, and covering her  with the sheets, turning to face Mistress Rita

"And good morning to you too sir. I can see some of us are at least having the time of our lives" she greeted in a smirk, her hands going to her waist.

"I'd like to think that you heard me Mistress. I said get out!" Mikhail all but roared, his eyes a storm of conflicting emotions

"And there's nothing more that I'd like to do trust me, because quite frankly, you look like you do need to get laid. But I've been waiting downstairs for the past one hour... Today's the big day remember? Or have you forgotten? And we're late already"

Raven raised herself up to a sitting position on the bed, wrapping the sheets firmly around her.

"Good morning Raven. I'm sorry to have to be the one to disrupt whatever that was leading to..." Mistress Rita acknowledged

"Oh crap Mick, the big meeting's today" It suddenly hit Raven.

"You have thirty minutes to get dressed Mikhail. The plane's set, and waiting. I'm going to be outside waiting as well, and give you guys back your much-needed privacy." Rita finished off, and then left the room

Mikhail turned to face Raven, a concerned expression on his face

"It's alright. I know you need to go. I'll be fine. I mean some couples do long distance relationships and they're perfectly fine right? You'll be gone for only a month. I'll think I can manage on my own without you, for a month. I'll be fine." She strove to assure him, when she saw the concerned look on his face. Although the words were said to assure her own self as well.

"Raven let's not do that. Let's not act and pretend like this is perfectly fine, or that we're both happy I'm going to be away for a month" he grasped her chin in his hand

And it was at that point that she did in fact break down, right under his kind, caring stare. The cool facade she'd been striving to put up for him, every bit as much as it was for herself, instantly destroyed "But do you really have to go Mikhail? Surely there's another person who can go to Africa and insurmount the growing rebellion there, then set up a new ruling empire for the Order Of Machiavelli..."

"Shhh, I'm the only one who can do it. I'm family babochka. Dimitri could never trust anyone else to do it, except me. I was an orphan as you well know. His father brought me up, taught me everything I know, introduced me to his wife, his children — his family. It's a debt I can never stop repaying babochka. There is no one else he can send. He needs me. And so, I'm going to be there for him. That's what family does. We take care of each other."

"But for a month!? What if something happens? What if you get hurt? What if you get lost, stranded, and can't come back? I just got you. I can't loose you Mikhail" she said almost desperately

"I should think you'd have more faith in me yes? Trust me then, to come back little one, because I can promise that I will. You couldn't get rid of me that easily, even if you tried." he caressed her face, leaning down to place a light kiss on her forehead before getting out of the bed, going to the rack where some of his casual clothes had been neatly arranged, and picking up a black button-up shirt, with a pair of jeans.

He would have all the time he needed, when he got to his plane, to properly dress up, and clean himself up; or more importantly, change into the tuxedo he was supposed to wear.

They would be stuck inside the  plane for hours. He could also catch a much-needed sleep there because, he'd been awake almost all through the night, making love to Raven as much as humanly possible. As much as he possibly could.

This insane craving, to memorize her face, her mouth, her lips, her breasts when they were all swollen with arousal, begging for his touch, the sounds she made when she was just threatening to spill over into a heady climax... He'd tortured himself, storing as much tidbit details as he could about her, knowing he'd be away from her for a month.

He was more than ashamed to say he'd almost worn her out, waking her up at different intervals of the night to soothe his raging desires, pounding into her ferociously until she was more than spent. The demon within him taking over, wanting...needing to mark her, brand her over and over again as his.

Now, he'd thought he'd be able to make love to Raven at least one last time this morning, before he'd have to leave, but alas, even that was not to be. For the first time in a really long while, he was genuinely scared. This woman had drugged him, invaded his mind and his senses, What would an addict do without his addiction?

And 'no'. No matter how many times the idea made itself to him, no matter the billions of times it came to his mind, he wasn't going to carry Raven along with him. It wasn't safe.
