9: Trouble in Shopping

Sapphire's POV

Oh my God! I screamed after seeing so many missed calls of mother. One day only one day I decide to leave my behind and on that day I get 20 missed calls from my mother.
"Sapphire you have exactly 10 minutes to come out" Zoe shouted from outside. I sent a call you later message to my mother and hoped that she won't kill me.

"How much more time to get there" Zoe whined.
"Shut up Zoe you have asked that like ten times already from past ten minutes" I snapped.
"Moreover you were the one who wanted to go to the mall which was so much far away from the palace" I was really cranked up. I was dragged by Zoe to the car after I got ready. That damn woman didn't even allowed me to have breakfast properly.

"Fine! " Zoe huffed and sat silently. "Stop behaving like a teen Zoe" Zion said.
"If you haven't noticed I am a teen genius" Zoe snapped back to her brother.
"Shut up! both of you are giving me a headache" I snapped. Well moody Sapphire is not a good sight. The silence was disturbed when my phone rang. Zion picked it up as I was driving.
"Hi Sapphire we have already reached. Are you here yet" Delilah asked from the other side.

"No we are on the way. Will reach in five minutes" Zion answered. "Do come soon I can't stand Charlotte any more" Delilah pleaded. "Sure, just endure a little Del" Zoe said and hung up. "Thank God she didn't came with us" Zoe remarked.

Charlotte also tagged along with us but thankfully she went with George and Delilah. We reached the mall after ten minutes and currently I am being dragged to every boutique store by Delilah and Zoe. Charlotte already ditched us went with her friends coz she doesn't shop with 'peasents' like us, her words not mine.

"Hey stop dragging me I can walk you know" I shouted at the two wild cats now dragging me to some expensive store that i haven't even heard of.
"Sapphire stop struggling come on you have to buy a dress" Zoe said. "But I already have a new dress I don't want to buy another one" I complained.
"No you have already wore that once. It will not do" Delilah said.
"Give up already Saph it's useless to struggle against them" Zion said in a mater of fact tone.
"Yes endure it, are you sure you are a girl ? You are supposed to like shopping right" George teased further. I gave him my deadliest glare. "Ok I will be shutting up now" George said pretending to zip his lips.

"Ok Sapphire try this purple gown" Delilah said. Both her and Zoe have already bought their gowns. Delilah bought a golden brown dress and Zoe bought a gorgeous green gown. I came out wearing the purple dress. It wasn't my taste at all. The front neckline had a very deep cut and it showed much skin.

"Woohoo! you look hot girl" Zoe whistled. "No Zoe I don't like this dress. It shows much skin. I am uncomfortable in this."
"What are you talking about it's beautiful Arthur will definitely love this" Delilah squealed.
"Why would Arthur like this?" It was asked by Zion.
"What ?" Delilah asked oblivious to Zion's hard stare.
"I asked what this dress has to do anything with Arthur"
"Oh you don't know Arthur has a crush on Sapphire and he will be dumbstrucked after seeing her in this dress."
"What Arthur has a crush on me, who told you that" I asked horrified.
"This happened without me knowing" Zoe interrupted.
"Not now Zoe" Zion said calmly.

"No one told me that. I can see how Arthur looks at you with those lovey dovey eyes. Even a kid can see and tell" Delilah explained like explaining a child.
"This is epic. Please carry on" George broke the tensed atmosphere by laughing out loud.
I was shocked I don't even know if I should acknowledge it or not. I never saw Arthur in that way.

"Ok Saph you don't need to wear this dress. "Let's get you something that you are comfortable with" Zion said and Zoe took me to the changing room.

After some minutes of searching we selected three dresses. "Wait Saph wear this blue one I think it will suit you the most" Zion said.
I got changed in the blue dress. Wow it's really beautiful and suits me perfectly. It is not too revealing. I went out excited. "I think this is it" I exclaimed happily, what do you all think?"
"It's perfect."
"Yeah it suits you perfectly" Both the girls exclaimed.
"Finally let's buy it and get out of here" George said.
"Hey guys so while you were paying bill for the dress I bought some shoes for us" Zoe said excitedly.
"Show us" Delilah said.
"Ok so this beautiful Stilettos is for Delilah" Zoe said bringing out a golden pink stilettos with a golden intricate designs of vines. It was so beautiful.
Delilah squealed and hugged Zoe.
"Ok next is for Saph" She said taking out a navy blue heels which was designed by silver vines. It was a bit like Delilah's but very gorgeous!!
"Zoe you didn't have to but this is so pretty I don't even know if I will wear this or just keep and watch it" I said .
"You will wear it dumbo" Zoe said.
"What about you? " Zion asked Zoe.
"Oh I bought a beautiful silver belle flats with pearl design" Zoe said showing off her shoes.
"It's so cute" I said nodding at her choice.
"Thanks"
"Hey but why you didn't bought a heel for yourself Zoe" Delilah asked.
"I don't know but this shoes were love at first sight so I just bought it!! " Zoe said excitedly.
"Thank you Zoe" Both me and Delilah sang. Zoe just blowed a kiss to us.

We bought the dress and shoes and went to the food court. "Oh god my heels are killing me" Zoe whined.

"Wait who wears heels for shopping?" I asked taking a sip of my orange juice. "Every girl except you Sapphire dear" she replied.
"Oh shut up."

"So girls what do you wanna eat?" Zion asked.
"I am happy with my juice" I answered dryily. My headache was returning. "Delilah and I will have a pizza each. What about you George" Zoe asked. "I want a hamburger and fries" George added.
"Do you expect me to bring all those alone huh? You are coming with me" Zion said dragging George along with him.

As Zoe and Delilah were busy ogling the hot boys passing by them I decided to check my phone. Oh there is a message from mother. *Why are you not picking up the calls do you want to give this old lady heartattack.*

*Sorry Mother I left my phone in the room yesterday. Now I am in the mall not willingly though.* I typed back.
Seconds later I got another message. *Ok call me once you are back.*
*Ok mother.*
"Hey Saph where do you think the barbie is right now?" Delilah asked.
"She might be in Victoria's Secret choosing her ball dress" I answered dryily. Zoe choked on her water.
"Woah you sound pissed Saph otherwise you won't make those bold jokes. Guess I am rubbing on you at last" Zoe said.
"Very funny, it's just that a certain someone didn't let me sleep peacefully" I said faking a glare towards Zoe. Before I could continue my phone rang showing Arthur's name.
"Woah looks like lover boy is calling his dearie" Delilah laughed along with Zoe. Ignoring them I picked up the call. "Hello Arthur what's the matter?"
"Hi Sapphire are you alone. It's urgent" Arthur said.
"No, give me a second" I said to him.
Sorry girls there is a network problem here, I will be back in a bit" I said and without waiting for their reply went towards the ladies' room.

"Yes Arthur what happened happened ?"
"Do you know that book about blood elemental, do you have it?"
"No I kept it back as I promised. I don't have it, why what happened?"
"I can't find it, I have searched every shelf. It seems like someone has taken it with them."

Before I could reply my head was strucked from behind and everything went black.
