10: The Warning

Ugh my head is pounding. Wait why I feel like I am paralysed. It seems like my hands and legs are tied by a rope. Really how classic. I slowly got up and leaned myself on the wall. Those people have really hit my head hard. Wait! I am kidnapped, haven't the others realized that I didn't came back. But where I am being held. The room is dimly lit by an overhead bulb and there are many boxes of what seems like clothes. Wait I am still inside the mall.

I tried opening the ropes using my powers. How strange the ropes are not opening. However weak  I am in using powers but I can still open ropes and these ropes also seem strange what's so different about these. After trying unsuccessfully I sat down exhausted. Now I am feeling scared why would someone kidnap me it's not like I am heiress of some big company or anything even my pocket money is pathetic. Why does no one come here, I don't even know how much time is passed.
I feel frustrated why is everything happening to me why only I have to suffer.

Suddenly my hands started burning. I looked at my hand to see that they have turned red. The ropes too started melting. What the hell is happening I am not a fire elemental how I could melt these ropes. I removed the ropes on the bright side atleast I am free. Strangely my hands although were red but it didn't burn like the rope.
Ok next step to check where the heck I am. Tiptoeing my way towards the door I turned the knob.

Huh it opened so easily, are the kidnappers so dense they didn't even locked the door. Don't they know that I am an elemental. Ok I should stop criticizing the kidnappers and get out from here.

I came out silently lest the kidnappers are still around here. Well I was right, there is a sign saying storage room outside the door. Before I can take another step I could sense a strange aura coming in my direction. This dark, black aura belongs to Varlets. Wait why varlets are here in our  territory.

"Well well as expected you escaped" a sinister voice called out behind me. I turned around to see a man wearing all black outfit and his face was hidden by a mask. "You are a varlet what are you doing here" I shrieked. I can't help but panic right now.

"We were just checking if you are the right girl or not. Seems like we are not wrong" the man said maliciously.

I turned around and ran the other way before the man could catch me but I a big body stopped me. Another man wearing the same black outfit catched my arms tightly.

"Where do you think you are going huh?" he laughed.
"No please let me go I didn't do anything" I struggled in his hold but I can't move a inch. 

The man slapped me hard "Shut up bitch and stop moving if you don't want to be slapped again and don't think of using your powers we have sealed it" the man said.

"Don't touch her, boss said to bring her unharmed. Her powers could go out of control if she is angry the seal will only work temporarily." the first man whispered to the second man but I heard them. I need to catch them off guard. I can pretend to be unconscious yes that would do for now.

I stopped struggling and went limp in his hold. "Hey she fainted, I told you not to hit her. Quick lay her down. Boss is calling."

I strained to hear the man's conversation and the second one laid me down on the floor. "Yes boss we caught her, yes she managed to escape succesfully."
As the two man were busy talking their boss I got up silently and started backing away. Before they could turn I started running.

"Hey catch the girl"  the men shouted. I ran with all my energy. Why is this place is deserted, not one person is present. I could hear footsteps behind me. "You ran away from us but how will you escape from the Blood King" the man shouted. I stopped running what did he just say. Suddenly  someone caught my arm and pulled me in a room.  I opened my mouth to scream but that person kept his on my mouth
