I've changed a small thing in my story. Just like Namjoon, Yoongi etc. I've given Jimin and Jungkook the stage names they were supposed to debut with i.e. Jimin - Young Kid and Jungkook - Seagull. Jin's stage name is Jin itself.

Min Jangmi's POV

It's been only 2 hours 30 minutes since Mom left. I still have to spend the next 6 hours and 45 minutes like this. These 6 cruelly terrifying hours are going to decide my destiny. I'm shaking with fright. I don't feel good at all. I take deep breaths to calm myself down, but there is a pit in my stomach. A pit full of fear.

I needed to do something as I could not get past 6 hours with those thoughts. I found some of the most boring movies and put them on T.V. and tried to pay full attention to those movies. After about 10 minutes I got up and took some medicine for cold to knock myself out. It worked. I fell asleep nearly 15 minutes later.

The Next Day

Narrator's POV

5:30 am Everything was calm in the early hours of the day. The sun was slowly rising up in the sky. Half of the world was asleep while a some were awake. The sun shone through the window of the safe house and fell onto Jangmi's beautiful face. How calm and peaceful she looked while being asleep.

But that did not last for long. Jangmi's face twisted with terror. She started writhing and screaming. Her hair was all wet with sweat. Her hand hit the table near her head due to which the glass of water placed on the top fell. The water from the glass fell straight onto Jangmi's face, waking her up from her horrible nightmare.

Jangmi sat up, struggling to breath. Finally, after catching her breath she stood up and looked around convincing herself that the nightmare she saw wasn't real. She sat down on the couch to catch her breath. All the events from last night hit her hard. Her mother leaving. Them knowing. Everything. She shivered involuntarily and decided to do something worthwhile to spend the time.

Jangmi's POV

I stood up from the couch and started cleaning up the room while blasting loud K-Pop to keep myself distracted. I took my time to find the songs I loved and play them. Nearly all the songs were of a boy band called BTS. I don't know anything about BTS except the fact that they are 7 boys ; Jin, Suga, RM, J-Hope, Young Kid, V and Seagull. I never was much of a fan girl. I listened to music for the music and not for the visuals.

Now that I think of it, I got into hearing BTS's songs because mom played them every day and slowly it turned into a hobby. I started bobbing my head and sang along with the songs to keep myself distracted. The time went on as slow as possible. I went into the kitchen to make myself some breakfast.

I made myself galbi (grilled ribs), kongnamul bab (bean sprout rice) along with some kimchi and a fried egg. I sat down and ate as slow as I could and finished every last bit of food I had prepared.

7:00 am I managed to spend 1 hour 30 minutes without crying or feeling scared. I thought the pit of fear had vanished. But no such luck. It came back as soon as I picked up my phone to check the time. My heart started racing. 45 minutes. 45 minutes for me to know my destiny.

45 minutes for me to know my destiny

45 minutes later

Mum always taught me to be punctual. Never early nor late. Always on time. This field required punctuality.

One second early and you could miss your chance to escape or fail to protect yourself.

One second late and you could get shot or lose your own life as well as someone else's too.

Being on time means you could save many lives and grab many chances and be one step closer to victory or your goal. I abide by the law of punctuality.

7:45 I stood up and made my way to my room and opened my closet to start packing. I opened the closet and found a box placed on my clothes. The box was addressed to me.

My vision started to blur while I took the box out of my closet and placed it carefully on the bed like a precious treasure, as it was very precious to me

My vision started to blur while I took the box out of my closet and placed it carefully on the bed like a precious treasure, as it was very precious to me. The handwriting on the box could never be forged. The Box was from my mom.

This Box was going to guide me while my mother was absent. This box was going to give me the closure I needed. The comfort I needed. All the instructions I needed to understand what was going on and how I was supposed to deal with it.

I could not stop my hands from shaking. I tried taking a few deep breaths to calm myself down. A few deep breaths later my hands stopped shaking. I slowly took the box and opened the flaps.
