49. Action!

BTS Household

Narrator's POV

Everyone took their places. Jungkook poured some water on himself, making it look like he was sweating profusely and sat down on the couch with a posture to make him being sick believable. Jin stood near the couch while Namjoon stood beside him. Jimin and Taehyung sat beside Jungkook with concerned looks on their faces while Yoongi and Hobi ran out to call those people.

Kwang was standing outside when he suddenly heard a noise. He turned to see Yoongi and Hobi coming out and shouting for help. He immediately ran towards them and asked, "What happened?" "Jungkook is not feeling well. He needs his medicine. He has had this problem since he was small." said Yoongi. "He sweats like crazy and gets tired. His pills are over and he needs them right now. Let us go to get those pills!" finished Hobi.

They looked at Kwang waiting for his response. As expected, Kwang did not believe them immediately. He motioned for them to go inside and followed behind them. Kwang refused to believe the coincidence. Hwan leaving, them wanting to go find him and Jungkook falling sick. That was an obvious plot. Nevertheless, he decided to take a look.

He walked in to see a slumped Jungkook on the couch. Kwang went near him and saw the look of pain on his face along with the beads of sweat. It seemed believable. He nodded and asked for the prescription before sending 2 of his men to buy the medicine.

He gave BTS a look before leaving. Everyone understood the look Kwang gave them. He knew something was wrong. But it did not stop them from heaving a sigh of relief as soon as the door closed after Kwang. The first part of their plan was successful.

Now they just had to wait for the right moment to sneak Jin out to the car. Jungkook stood up and wiped the water from his face and went near the windows. He hid behind the curtain and peeked out to see what everyone's positions were.

He went back to the others, "I have an option. Let's sneak him out from the back. Jin hyung is flexible. So I'm sure he can jump over the wall and enter through the front to take the car. In this way they won't be able to know for sure if we are with him or not."

Everyone nodded in agreement, eyes shining with excitement. After all they never got a chance to do something like this. Hobi swiftly went to the back with the others following behind and made sure that no one was there. Jin nodded to himself and softly whispered, "I can do this for Hwan!" before leaving and going towards the backyard while the others went back in to hide.

Jin's heart was beating like crazy. He hadn't expected to be given such a big part in the plan. He was the getaway driver! He took a deep breath before jumping over the wall with great difficulty.

Their car was near the main gates and was well hidden. Hwan's men wouldn't realize something was going on until the car was started. Jin quietly made his way towards the car and got in. He went over his part in his head to make sure it went perfectly.

He was supposed to start the car and move once they noticed him. Then he had to make sure that they would come after him thinking that all of them had escaped. After ensuring that he had to get them off his trail and go back to the house to get the others and go find Hwan.

He took a deep breath to calm himself down before starting the car and keeping his eye on the rearview mirror with his foot set on the accelerator.

Kwang was strolling around wondering how Hwan was doing and whether he was safe or not when he suddenly heard a sound. The sound of a car engine. His eyes immediately met the eyes of his men before running towards the sound.

They got there in time to see Jin driving the car away. He quickly turned towards his men and motioned for them to follow the car while he ran back to the house. He ran in to see the backdoor open. They escaped from the backdoor!

He stamped his foot in anger. One job. Hwan had given him one job and he failed. How was he even supposed to show his face to Hwan? Kwang immediately ran outside and gathered his men. They got into their car and quickly left to follow Jin's car.

"Coast is clear! It seems like they left..." shouted Taehyung peeking out from behind the kitchen counter. Instantly, Jungkook, Yoongi and Namjoon came down the stairs while Taehyung, Jimin and Hobi walked out of the kitchen.

"Now what do we do? Wait?" asked Yoongi with a hint of doubt in his voice. "Yes. We wait. I suppose Jin hyung will be here any time. I say let's gather some things and wait outside." Everyone nodded in agreement and got ready.

They did not take anything except their house keys and two guns. It was Yoongi who convinced them to take the guns. They might need it. Everyone seemed a bit skeptical but nevertheless agreed. Yoongi took one gun and gave the other one to Jungkook.

Everyone looked at each other and nodded. They were ready. They had no other option. Hwan needed someone who he could lean on. Everyone turned and walked out of the house ready to prove that they could protect themselves and their loved ones.

Jin kept his attention on both the road and his rearview mirror. He had to be sure that he had lost Hwan's men. He looked behind for the fifth time. There was no one. The road was completely isolated and no one was following him. He heaved a sigh of relief and turned to go home and get the others.

At first, he saw a few men running after him on foot but soon enough they turned back. He thought he had lost them but the very next moment he saw a car after him, and he could see the men. He immediately stepped on the accelerator and started taking sharp turns to get them off his trail.

It took him about 5 minutes to get them off his trail. He stopped in front of the main gate to see everyone standing ready with serious expressions on their faces. Jin smiled a small smile at everyone and motioned for them to get in.

They had to take one car as it would be tough to stay discreet with 2 cars. Everyone got in and sat down on each other's laps and fitted themselves with great difficulty. Jin looked back and managed to resist the urge to laugh at the chaos in the back.

He turned and started driving as soon as everyone was settled. No one said much during the ride until a sudden sound of "Stop" was heard. Jin immediately stepped on the brakes and stopped the car with a screech. He turned to the back seat and looked at the person who shouted, "Why did you shout!?"
