Narrator's POV

Everything has been going well. BTS and Hwan had been living peacefully. It's been 2 months since the call with PD-nim and Hwan finding out they're BTS. They had gotten closer than ever. It was as if Hwan is the 8th member of BTS.

Soon enough they even made added Hwan into their group chat. They decided not to send Hwan to school as he already had such an IQ and knew enough. It would be convenient to keep him close by not sending him. Hwan agreed with them.

Map Of The Soul: 7 was going to be released in a month. They had already finished recording the songs and their MVs. They were now practicing the choreography. They had finished learning it and had been working hard on their singing.

They would take Hwan with them and disguise him as a staff member. It was easy as he was taller than Jimin, and he knew a few things about makeup and would help them to touch up. They were amazed at how impressively Hwan could disguise himself.

Hwan enjoyed watching them and spending time with them too. As discussed everyone was keeping a close eye on Hwan. They had been watching Hwan more closely for a few days and realized that he had been acting a weird.

He would zone out a lot and stop talking to everyone. He would barely come out of his room. They had to force him to come out for eating. He wouldn't eat much. He was looking paler than usual. His eyes had a lot of dark circles. It seemed that he hadn't been sleeping much.

They tried talking to him. But he wouldn't budge. He would mutter a small I'm fine and dodge their questions. Everyone tried their own individual ways.

Jimin and Hobi offered to teach Hwan their new choreographies, which he would usually accept with tons of excitement, but Hwan rejected them politely and told that he was tired.

The next day Yoongi told Hwan to come with him to his studio and show him how they produce music, but he immediately declined to say that had a headache.

Namjoon and Hoseok went up to Hwan and told him to come with them for a movie and a day out. Once again, the same excuse, a headache.

Jin was frustrated from all the worrying and snapped at Hwan once after dinner, "Yah! What is wrong with you? We keep on asking you and try to cheer you up. But you aren't even bothered? At least say something to make us feel that you're fine. Why aren't you eating? I'm telling you for the last time-"

Jin took a breath before continuing, "-If you don't tell us what is wrong with you and why you are roaming around the house with a cloud of depression on you, I'm going to take you to a doctor!"

After this Hwan just stared at Jin for a while before sighing and going back to his room. Everyone had been present at that time. They were surprised. None of them could ignore Jin hyung's scoldings.

Now it was Jungkook's turn. He went up to Hwan, who was lying in his bed staring at the ceiling with a dull and blank look on his face. Jungkook called out to Hwan, "Get up! You're coming with me to the gym today. You're so unfit. You've done nothing except lying in bed." Hwan didn't bother to even say anything, he just turned his back to Jungkook and started starting out of the window.

Jungkook was losing his patience. He was determined to get Hwan out. He went over to the other side and bent down near Hwan's face, "You better get up in a minute and dress up for the gym. If I don't see you downstairs in 5 minutes all dressed up, then I'm going to pick you up and throw you into the pool. And you know how well I can do that."

That did it. It was cold now for it rained often. Hwan immediately got up and took some clothes before walking into his bathroom. Jungkook smiled proudly and went down to wait for Hwan.
