13. The Alley

Outside Home Plus

Yoongi's POV

The store was quite isolated. People usually came more in the evening. We parked our cars and entered the store. As soon as we entered Jungkook went off to get himself banana milk while Hobi went straight for sprite, we laughed at them and their childish actions. Jin hyung chose Jimin and Tae and lead them to the grocery section. I was surprised that Namjoon did not go with Jin Hyung, instead he came with me.

I walked out of the store and stood near the entrance. As expected, Joon followed me out and stood there and stared at me. I turned to him and asked him, "Why are you staring me Joon? I'm completely fine. I'm not going to do anything rash. I'm fine"

Joon kept on standing beside me. I sat down on the bench nearby. Joon sat down beside me. He watched his surroundings and made sure not to look at me. I sighed, "I'm scared. What if the kid does not like me? What if I don't like the kid? What if you guys and the kid can't bear each other? What if the kid is a brat? How am I supposed to take care of a kid? What if I hurt the kid? I am not a suitable role model of the kid. I-"

Namjoon interrupted me and said, "Hyung, your sister knows you the best. She knows your attitude and your way of living. She knows that her child could put up with you and vice - versa. You don't need to worry. Okay? And I'm sure you'll be able to-" Namjoon puts up a big smile and says,"'infire' the child".

I crack up. Namjoon's IQ is dangerous. He never forgets your words. I stood up and went back inside with Namjoon.

Meanwhile

Jangmi's POV

I woke a few minutes before reaching Seoul. I had a good rest on the train and was now energetic. I quickly put on my bag and picked up my suitcase before walking out of the train. I started walking down the street. Luckily it wasn't quite sunny. I followed GPS navigation and walked. About 10 minutes later I reached one of the Home Plus.

I decided to go in and buy a pack of gum. I walked in and saw that the place was isolated except for some people, 3 boys near grocery 2 near soft drinks and 2 near the snacks. I minded my own business and paid for a packet of gum before heading out. I continued my journey.

Suga's POV

I took Joon and went over to the snack's shelf. I heard the entrance door open and turned my head in time to see a purple headed boy pay for something at the counter and leave the store. 5 minutes later we headed over to the counter and paid for our things and exited the store. We climbed back into our cars and started heading back home.

I was driving in front of Jin Hyung. All of a sudden Jimin shouted, "Stop the car, hyung" I slammed the brakes. I turned around to scold him for shouting when I saw him pointing towards an alley. It was that boy from the store. He was confronted by 7 men. It looked like he was being bullied and about to be mugged.

I immediately got off the car and saw the others follow me. I was about to rush forward to save that boy when a hand stopped me. I turned around to see Tae. He just looked at the scene. All of us stood there watching what happened in complete and utter amazement.

Jangmi's POV

I walked quite peacefully, lost in my own thought. I slowed down when I neared an alley. A group of muggers were sitting there. I decided to ignore them and walk forward. Just as I was about o pass them, one of the muggers put out his leg for me to trip on.

I was alert and stepped on his leg before continuing to walk ahead. They shouted, "You purple head! How dare you! Stop if you're a man!" I turned back and walked near them. Stop if I'm a man? Ha! They're courting death. I looked at the man who shouted, "What?" and started tapping my foot impatiently.

As expected they were provoked. "You want to fight us?", they started laughing at their own words. They asked for it! I needed to remove all the stress and grief inside me, and they were offering it to me on a golden plate. How could I not accept it.

I bent down and stretched my back before turning my neck from left to right and popping it with a series of clicks in rapid succession. I removed my bag and put it aside along with my suitcase.

I got ready to fight with them and failed to notice 7 men standing behind me at some distance, watching in amazement.

Those muggers lost it. They started coming at me one after the other, I smirked before defending myself. I put my left foot behind and waited for the guy to reach me before I spun and kicked him right in his face without moving an inch.

This time 2 of them came together. Both of them moved forward to catch me. I ducked and slid away in time to watch them bump against each other and get knocked out cold. Hmph! 2 down.

These guys were not up to my level, and I was getting pretty bored. I stood up and started attacking. 2 minutes in and all of them except the leader were out cold. I took out a piece of gum and chewed it while walking slowly towards the leader. He was scared. I could see it in his eyes. But he could not bear to let go of his ego and charged towards me.

I immediately moved sideways and slammed my forearm across his stomach. He staggered while I took the chance to punch him in his face. He dropped and spat some blood onto the side. I bent and picked him up from his collar and kicked his chest. He fell down. I walked towards him, making him crawl back until his back touched the wall.

I bent down near his face and said, "Be careful of whom you underestimate. And I don't want to see you here again. If I see you again I won't hold back."
