48. Escape Plan

Narrator's POV

Everyone was shocked to their core. They had not expected Hwan to actually run away. "Well, what are we waiting for? Let's go and find him. He's on foot, right? We can go in the car and find him." said Namjoon, raising his eyebrows. Everyone nodded and quickly went down.

They opened the door just to see 2 men standing, more like guarding their door. "Excuse me, who are you guys? And why are you blocking our way?" asked Jimin with a confused frown on his face. "Move please. You are trespassing and we need to go!"

The men refused to move or even acknowledge them. Jin was starting to become impatient and angry. After all, Hwan was out all alone! "Yah! You are deaf or what? Move!" Before Jin could say anymore, a man came up to the door.

"These are Hwan's orders. You are not supposed to step out of here before 5 pm tomorrow. Sorry. Please do not try to fight us. We don't want to involve any kind of violence because you are Hwan's family. I hope you co-operate." said Kwang before giving a brief nod to the two guards and walking away.

Yoongi closed the door and sat down on the couch. Everyone followed him and settled down on the couch as well. "Well? What are we supposed to do now? It's clear Hwan doesn't want us to be involved." said Taehyung with a sad, disappointed face. No one replied. They knew he was right and they felt the same.

"Hyung! You are taking this the wrong way! It's obvious. Hwan wants to protect us." said Jungkook. "But he is not able to understand that we are strong enough to protect ourselves. He doesn't want to lose his family again!"

The expressions on everyone's faces changed. "We need a plan to escape. We can't sit here and wait for Hwan. We need to go look for him!" said Hobi. "And Yoongi, what's that in your hand?" Yoongi looked down to his hand and realized that he hadn't opened the envelope and was roaming around with it. He had completely forgotten about it!

Yoongi immediately explained to them how he woke up when Hwan came in and how he left this before saying something's and leaving. Namjoon took the envelope from Yoongi's hands and opened it as soon as Yoongi stopped speaking. All of a sudden Namjoon stopped. "Hyung, why did you stop? What's inside?" asked Jimin looking at Namjoon with eyes filled with confusion.

Wordlessly, Namjoon took out the guns from the envelope and placed it on the table before removing the letter. Everyone except Yoongi was a bit shocked after seeing those guns. Nevertheless, everyone focused on the letter in Namjoon's hand. He slowly opened the letter and cleared his throat before reading it out loud.

Dear Uncle and Hyungs,

I know you must be thinking what is it with me leaving notes and letters instead of leaving a text. But that's not that important. You know why I'm leaving. I have to save Rosa and my mom. Before I met you, they were my only family. But now I'm not alone. I have you all in my life.

You are my family. And that's why I cannot bear to let anything happen to you. It's breaking my heart to lock you up in your house. But I have to because I know you won't listen to me. I'm leaving these guns for you to protect yourself if ever needed. Don't worry. These are licensed guns.

I want you to know that this might be the last time you ever see me. I'm really sorry for bringing so much trouble into your lives. I'm sorry for putting you in danger. I feel very bad about lying to you. I hope you forgive me for this and forget me. Forgetting me would be better than waiting for me. I don't know what's going to happen now.

I'll either die trying or I'll get Rosa and mom out. If I succeed I'll be leaving this place forever to keep you away from me. It's the best for you to stay away from me and focus on your great lives. I love you a lot. Thank you so much for giving me so much love and comfort.

Everyone remained silent letting everything they heard process in their brain. They were not able to believe what Hwan had said. A few more minutes passed away in deathly silence. "Don't you people dare think that we are going to sit here and wait for Hwan to come back. He had made it clear that he's not going to come back. It's up to us to go find him!" said Jin with full determination.

It was a few seconds before a unanimous sound of agreement was heard. Jin nodded to himself proudly. "How are we going to escape these people? We ambush them? I saw that there are only 5 of them, and we are seven. It will be easy to ambush them!" said Taehyung with his eyebrows raised in question.

"I swear to god! Hyung! Don't you understand? Those people are literal gangsters who work under Hwan. You've seen how Hwan fights. Well, these people fight somewhat like him. We won't be able to take them down." said Jungkook with a tone of exasperation while running a hand through his hair.

Yoongi sighed and rolled his eyes, "I'm the smart one after all. We obviously need to fool these people and figure out a way to get out. I have an idea. We can pretend that one of us is feeling sick and needs medicine. They'll send one or two of their men to get the medicine then we can ambush the others." said Yoongi with a small smirk, "And then-"

"We won't be violent! They work under Hwan. And we should not hurt them. I have a better plan. We send them to get medicine, and then we fool them." interrupted Namjoon. A collective sound of how was heard immediately. Namjoon smiled and started explaining his plan.

Everyone was finally ready after going over the plan for the fourth time. It had to be perfect. They had finally decided who was going to do what. Their final plan was to have Jungkook act as if he was not feeling well and needed medicine for some condition he had for a long time. Now once someone is sent to get medicine, it will be time for the second part of their plan.

The second part of the plan is to sneak the person who can drive fast out to the car. That person would be Jin. Now comes the main part. Jin would go alone and fool them into thinking that all of them got into the car and managed to escape, while in reality, the others would be hiding in the house and waiting for Jin to get rid of them and come back to get them.
