Hindi pa rin ako makapaniwala sa nakikita ko ngayon. Kamukhang kamukha ni Felice ang babaeng nakaupo sa harapan ng piano. Anong chance na kamukha mo ang isang tao maliban na lang kung she has a twin, or a doppelganger just like in books and comics.

But the speaking voice is still the same as before. Hindi naman siguro si Felice ang girl na yan sabi ko sa sarili ko.

Then she began playing the piano and I hear the first notes of the song Spell. At nagumpisa na siyang kumanta.

Spotlight's shining brightly on my own face...
I can't see a thing and yet I feel you looking my way...
Empty stage with nothing but this girl...
Who's singing this simple melody and wearing her heart on her sleeve...

At narinig ko na yung singing voice niya and by hearing it I confirm that the girl I'm looking at right now is really Felice Laurel. Pero bakit ang pangalan niya ay Katerina Sandoval. Parang bang I was brought back in time na una kong narinig si Felice na kumakanta. The very first time that I laid my eyes on her that fateful night at a beach in Batangas.

And capture the deepest thoughts in the purest and simplest of ways...
But you see I'm not that graceful like you nor am I as eloquent...
But just a simple melody can change the way that you see me...

Her voice still has the same effect on me as it was 3 years ago. It makes me so light inside and sends shivers down my spine. Para bang gusto kong mahimbing sa saliw ng kanyang tinig. It seems that the rest of the world doesn't exist and its just me and Felice right at this very moment. She is really putting me under a spell and my attention is only focus on her and her alone.

And all my life I stumble but up here I am just perfect...

As the song come to its end, nakita ko yung emotions sa mukha ni Felice na para bang alam niya na nanonood ako sa kanya.

Tumayo si Felice/Katerina mula sa harap ng piano. Tapos ay nagbow siya sa mga tao. Pumalakpak ako ng malakas at napasigaw na rin. Di ko namalayan na may luha na tumulo mula sa kanang mata ko, siguro dahil after all these years ay nakita ko uli siya. Ewan ko, pero halo halo ang nararamdaman ko ngayon. So many questions are roaming inside my mind and I need answers to each one of them.

"Huh, naluha ka ba sa performance ni Kate?" takang tanong sa akin ni Rian.

"Ha... napuwing lang ako. Ang sakit nga eh." Palusot ko.

Tumawa si Rian "Grabe, I knew that Kate is good, but I didn't actually saw someone get teary eyed from her singing."

"Di nga, napuwing lang ako talaga." Sabay kusot ng mata ko.

"Sige na nga, naniniwala na ako sa iyo." At hinipan niya ang kanang mata ko.

"Thanks." Nahihiyang sabi ko na lang kay Rian.
